The Jaw Type couplings are offered in the industry’s largest variety of stock bore/keyway combinations. These couplings require no lubrication and provide highly reliable service for light, medium, and heavy duty electrical motor and internal combustion power transmission applications. They are also fail-sale and will perform if elastomer fails, provides no metal to metal contact, resistant to oil, dirt, sand, moisture and grease.
Applications include pumps, gear boxes, compressors, blowers, mixers and conveyors. The couplings are available in a variety of metal hub and insert materials. Hubs are offered in sintered metal, aluminum, bronze, steel, stainless steel, and ductile iron.
Lovejoy offers four types of elastomer designs to allow for additional flexibility in addressing specific application requirements. Elastomer materials are available in Sox (NBR) rubber, Urethane, Hytrel, and Bronze.

The scientist Blaise Pascal formulated the principle of pressure propagation in liquids many years ago:
”A liquid confined in a vessel which is subjected to pressure distributes the pressure uniformly upon the walls of the vessel. ”
ETP has explored the many positive qualities in this principle, developed it further and applied it to the hub-shaft connections.
”A hydraulic pressure medium confined in a double-walled sleeve is pressurized (with screws/pistons or with an external pump). The pressure is distributed evenly along and around hub/shaft. The double-walled sleeve expands uniformly and gives an even contact pressure against shaft and hub ”.
The ETP-Principle works because of the hydraulic system: compact design, fast mounting, easy to position, good runout, does not damage the contact surfaces and is easy to dismantle. These qualities are important today and will be even more important in the future.
With increasing requirements on down sizing the machines, better runout/balance, increased machine speeds, shorter downtime for service and increased precision, is why the ETP hydraulic hub-shaft connections are choosen for more and more designs.

ETP-HYLOC, due to its robust design, is ideally suited to work in difficult environments and heavy operations like steel rolling mills, process industry etc. An interesting application, among many, has been fastening of rolls to shafts. ETP-HYLOC is fast to mount, has good concentricity and can take high radial loads.

ETP Transmission AB is specialized in development and manufacturing of high precision hydraulic locking devices.
A new hydraulic hub-shaft connection assortment of the more common ETP-Products are now introduced in stainless steel.
The demand from the food and process industries is increasing for stainless steel hub-shaft connections, surface coatings and plating are no longer sufficient.
The three most common types of the ETP-Products, ETP-CLASSIC, ETP-MINI and ETP-EXPRESS, are now available as standard items.
ETP-CLASSIC Type R, recommended for all normal needs.
For shaft sizes from 15 to 50 mm.
ETP-MINI Type R, for small shafts with sizes from 6 to 14 mm.
ETP-EXPRESS Type R, especially suitable for applications where adjustments
of the hub are made frequently or because of the need for radial access.
For shaft sizes from 15 to 50 mm
All surfaces exposed to the environment are made of stainless steel. In for example food processing this meets essential requirements.
Choose, for your application, the optimum hub-shaft connection in stainless steel
from ETP.

Actuated wave hub connection with high truth of running SPIETH pressure cases spring temper wave hub connections with a truth of running of 0,01mm is better or. Constructed after the proven SPIETH Kraftschlussprinzip the pressure cases have high security forces when homogeneous demand the connecting units. Harmful stamping due to local voltage peaks are avoided. By an axial manipulation, alternatively integrated or externally, steel diaphragm radially against hub drilling and wave are pressed and it develop a closed force river between the pressure case and the connecting units. Due to the adding play a simple assembly as well as disassembly without special tool are ensured. SPIETH Druckhülsen belong to the few elements, which are suitable also for an automated employment. An extensive company standard program provides for requirement-fair and economical solutions with high availability. On the basis of their requirements special solutions can be compiled and offered ready to be installed. The pressure cases in the overview: - AK/IK - AL/IL for external clamping introduction - DSK/DSL with integrated clamping introduction - DSM with integrated clamping introduction for motor shafts (k6/m6)

The Candy Timing Hub is the low cost phase adjusting coupling designed for precise rotary positioning. While in motion, the Timing Hub operates as a rigid shaft coupling. In the static position, it is possible to relocate one of the Timing Hub's flanges relative to the other, thus changing the rotary position of the output element. When both flanges are secured with the use of drive bolts, the Timing Hub again operates as a rigid shaft coupling.
The ability to advance and retard the position of various machine components is too often accomplished by friction-type clamping mechanisms. Such methods often slip under moderate shock loads, resulting in unnecessary and costly downtime. The Timing Hub eliminates the need for such devices, offering the most economical means of positive position control.

PowerRing™ Shaft-Hub Locks provide a keyless, extreme high strength connection between components and round shafts. They feature a smooth, non-marring bore which contracts securely onto a shaft while expanding the OD tightly into the I.D. of a hub. Fully adjustable, they are balanced to minimize vibration at high speeds, and prevent backlash damage caused by heavy loads.
