The Heavy Lift Mast Crane (HLMC) can be defined as a compact powerful rotating crane with very high lifting capacities. It is specially designed for use on Heavy Lift Vessels, for over sea transport of large and heavy equipment.
Most of the HLMC's are installed in a tandem configuration, sometimes one on each side, sometimes both on the same side of the vessel. The capacity, range and structure are excellent for this specialized use.
- Applicable for harbor/ sheltered water lifts
- Slewing range is limited to 450 degrees due to fixed position of winches below mast foot in ships hull
- Capacities in a range from 200 mt up to 7500 mt
- Load moments in a range from 3000 tm up to 200,000 tm
- Welded box girder or lattice type jibs

With the LR series, Liebherr offers a well-balanced programme of lattice boom crawler cranes. In the class below-300 metric tons, low transport weights, rapid self-assembly, optimum load capacity values across the entire working range and comprehensive operating information are among these cranes' main functional features.
For its larger crawler cranes with lifting capacities up to 1,350 metric tons, Liebherr also offers a wide range of multifunctional jib systems. These cranes can reach heights of up to 223 m at the hook and working radii of up to 152 m, but retain their outstanding manoeuvrability thanks to innovative solutions for the handling of extremely high ballast weights. The LR series is completed by the hydraulic duty cycle crawler cranes range (HS series), which is similar to the LR series in design. The machines have been developed for the most diverse material handling operations. This series comprises 6 models with load capacities between 35 and 200 metric tons.

Crawler cranes deliver excellent mobility over soft surfaces. These multiple-purpose cranes can be used in a broad range of applications, ranging from construction to civil engineering and port cargo handling.
|
|
These cranes have been designed for work on particularly high buildings or in extremely restricted spaces.
A new development is the option of fitting these cranes with a horizontal load path. When the jib is moved, the hoist gear is controlled in such a way as to ensure that the hook travels horizontally.
These luffing-jib cranes can avoid any obstruction and slew through 360° under load. Their small slewing radii and raised jib angles of 15 to 70°, even when not in operation, make these cranes particularly advantageous in operations on tight sites containing numerous cranes with overlapping slewing areas.
|
|
|
The MR crane range is specifically suited for congested construction sites. The jib can be luffed to almost vertical attaining excellent underhook heights and obstacle avoidance. The interchangeable base provides the option of multiple installation configurations, including climbing crane and traveling chassis installations. High performance slewing and hoisting equipment provide precise control of loads throughout the entire working radius.

For several uses Huisman-Itrec produces Offshore cranes. Key feature of this type of crane is the range to the seabed; up to over 3000m is possible.
We make a difference between the Pedestal Mounted Offshore Cranes and the Offshore Mast Cranes.
The Mastcranes are the 'heavy duty' deep water type of cranes, while the Pedestal Mounted Offshore Crane is an auxiliary crane specially made for pipe- and equipment handling on rigs.
Limited deep water capabilities are also possible.
|
|
The SA cranes are available for applications like buoy handling and/or pipe handling.
The crane prime mover is either electric-hydraulic or diesel-hydraulic. EX proof systems are available. The hydraulic system is of a closed type technology with individual circuits for each crane function.

H series
Hydraulics make handling of the H series cranes simple. Hydraulic rams on the tower and the jib move the H crane to its working position in no time at all. The folding tower has solid walls that are absolutely tight-welded.
HM series
Hydraulics make handling of the mobile fast-erecting cranes of the HM series simple. With the hydraulic erecting kinematics, erecting of the HM cranes is very easy, fast and safe and can be carried out by a single person.
TT series
The 32 TT fast-erecting crane is a very economical, multitalented machine. It offers seven different jib lengths, load moments to suit the task at hand and three different under-hook heights.
K series
The fast-erecting crane programme of lattice construction extends from 26 to 120 mt. These cranes have various jib lengths and hook heights as well as simple erecting kinematics.

The HD/HDT range of cranes are designed with jobsite efficiency and flexibility in mind. Rapid assembly and erection ensure maximum uptime, while compact dimensions and short rear slewing radius allow the crane to be set up in close proximity to structures. An electric power source (480v or 220v) ensures quiet and efficient operation of the crane via wireless radio remote controls or from the mast-mounted operator cab. HD/HDT cranes are easily transportable using a standard semi-trailer.
