Designed specifically for applications requiring particular manoeuvrability and compactness. LTC stands for "Liebherr-Telescopic-Compact", indicating the special compactness of the new crane design. A hydrostatic travel drive, the tightest of turning radii, active rear axle steering and shunting mode and the 7-section, 36 m compact boom distinguish the 55 tonner as the ideal lifting gear for crane assembly within restricted industrial buildings.

With the LR series, Liebherr offers a well-balanced programme of lattice boom crawler cranes. In the class below-300 metric tons, low transport weights, rapid self-assembly, optimum load capacity values across the entire working range and comprehensive operating information are among these cranes' main functional features.
For its larger crawler cranes with lifting capacities up to 1,350 metric tons, Liebherr also offers a wide range of multifunctional jib systems. These cranes can reach heights of up to 223 m at the hook and working radii of up to 152 m, but retain their outstanding manoeuvrability thanks to innovative solutions for the handling of extremely high ballast weights. The LR series is completed by the hydraulic duty cycle crawler cranes range (HS series), which is similar to the LR series in design. The machines have been developed for the most diverse material handling operations. This series comprises 6 models with load capacities between 35 and 200 metric tons.

Depending on the individual application requirements, the LG 1550 can be operated as an 800 t heavy-duty telescopic crane, type LTM 1800, with a 60 m telescopic boom. The new LG 1750, a 750 t powerful lattice boom crane featuring an eight-axle chassis, star support and variable boom system, was unveiled at the BAUMA 2004. LG lattice tower mobile cranes featuring lifting capacities of 550 t and 750 t are heavy-duty cranes and are designed for versatile application conditions.

These cranes have been designed for work on particularly high buildings or in extremely restricted spaces.
A new development is the option of fitting these cranes with a horizontal load path. When the jib is moved, the hoist gear is controlled in such a way as to ensure that the hook travels horizontally.
These luffing-jib cranes can avoid any obstruction and slew through 360° under load. Their small slewing radii and raised jib angles of 15 to 70°, even when not in operation, make these cranes particularly advantageous in operations on tight sites containing numerous cranes with overlapping slewing areas.

The MK series of mobile construction cranes combines the mobility of a classic truck crane with the functional advantages of a tower crane. MK cranes are designed for push-button assembly by one person.
Numerous operations a day are no problem for these taxi cranes. As mobile construction cranes, they feature state-of-the-art truck-crane chassis. Optimal manoeuvrability is ensured, with various electronic travel modes available to assist the operator.
The MK 63 and MK 100 (MK 110) mobile construction cranes are also fitted with the 45° super-raised jib angle.

H series
Hydraulics make handling of the H series cranes simple. Hydraulic rams on the tower and the jib move the H crane to its working position in no time at all. The folding tower has solid walls that are absolutely tight-welded.
HM series
Hydraulics make handling of the mobile fast-erecting cranes of the HM series simple. With the hydraulic erecting kinematics, erecting of the HM cranes is very easy, fast and safe and can be carried out by a single person.
TT series
The 32 TT fast-erecting crane is a very economical, multitalented machine. It offers seven different jib lengths, load moments to suit the task at hand and three different under-hook heights.
K series
The fast-erecting crane programme of lattice construction extends from 26 to 120 mt. These cranes have various jib lengths and hook heights as well as simple erecting kinematics.

The LTR 1100 unites the advantages of a telescopic crane and those of a crawler crane. The crawler chassis has outstanding off-road capabilities and manoeuvrability. What is more, the cranes displaces its load with excellent precision. The advantages of telescopic cranes are short set-up times, easier transportation and the variability of the boom and jib system.

Floating sheerlegs are part of the scope of supply of Huisman-Itrec since 1981. Huisman-Itrec was then awarded with the order of engineering and manufacturing the Taklift 4, a 1600t floating sheerleg for Smit Tak.
Later orders brought the capacity for Huisman Floating Sheerlegs up to 3200t. We have also a design for a skiddable A-frame, at which both the lifting and transport are possible.
A special kind of these types of cranes is the Rambiz.
This is an ocean going twin hull lifting vessel, equipped with 2 x 1350t cranes.
This lifting vessel is originally built in 1996 to build the Vasco di Gama bridge in Lisbon, Portugal. The Rambiz (see picture) is modified after the project.
Some principal data (after the modification):
- Length: 85 m
- Beam: 44 m
- Depth: 5.6m loaded
- Lifting cap.: 3400t at 23m radius
- Lifting cap.: 3300t at 26.3m radius
