The T560 is a hydrostatic drive chain trencher with a 185-horsepower Cummins turbocharged, after-cooled diesel engine. It features a two-speed infinitely variable digging chain drive for changing ground conditions and machine leveling capability for trenching on sloped surfaces.
The forged tailwheel provides smooth chain operation. True load sensing helps maintain balance between track speed and trencher speed for maximum productivity. The low-profile digging chains allow for optimum tooth penetration. This unit can achieve trenching depths from four to eight feet and widths from 10 to 24 inches. Routine service points are easily accessible from the ground.

All different types of trenchers with chainsaw, rockwheel and "bucket" wheel digging attachments as well as the surface miners are designed and manufactured in the plants of Alvarado - Texas and Grassobbio - Italy.
These machines offer advanced technology and state-of-the-art solutions to solve any problem of excavation or rock crushing, providing high productivity and cost effective work.
The wide range of machines allows different trench sizes and the capability to dig in the hardest conditions and difficult terrains like solid rock and frozen soil.
It is possible to trench for different applications, such as:
- fibre optics and power cables
- oil and gas pipelines, water and sewer lines, drainages
- automatic laying of cables, conduits and plastic pipes
- excavation and crushing of solid rock in the quarries
- reclamation of rocky soils to be used for agriculture.

UNAC builds two types of trenchers : on tyres or on caterpillar tracks. The 200SC, on caterpillar tracks, is light and compact. With its tool offset, it is possible to work in towns without blocking the traffic.
The 200SC stands out for its three main subsets :
-The carrier on caterpillar tracks, guided from a cabin or with a remote control.
-The trenching tool. A rotary rocksaw that can dig down to depths of 800 mm. A chain that can dig down to depths of 1400mm.
-conveyor belts, to remove excavated material.
Each subset can be dismounted. From the carrier on caterpillar tracks, the user can choose to work with the rocksaw or the chain. He can choose to evacuate the material into a truck or not. This principle, which is available on all the trencher in the range, provides considerable versatility for network installation companies.

The 250SC trencher resembles, at first sight, the 200SC trench excavator.
But not only is it more powerful and with superior mass, above all it has a much higher excavation capacity. The 250SC can escavate down to depths of 1 m with the rocksaw and 1.80m with the chain.
The caterpillar tracks and commands are identical to those of the 200SC trencher.
