Chamfering tools: for spur or helical gears, for straight or inclined gear lateral surfaces
Deburring tools:
- P type (standard tool for straight gear lateral surfaces)
- P 1000 type (like P type but grooved)
- PR type (with alternate sections for straight gear lateral surfaces radiused to the root)
- PR 1000 type (grooved tool for straight gear lateral surfaces radiused to the root)
- A 1000 type (grooved tool for inclined gear lateral surfaces)
- AR 1000 type (same as A 1000 type but radiused to the root)

As one of the largest manufacturers of gear cutting tools worldwide, our tool manufacturing programme features a wide range of shaper cutters, branded Samputensili, Fellows and Star SU, including disk-type shaper cutters, deep counterbore-type shaper cutters and shank-type shaper cutters. Our shaper cutters are generally ground for pre-finishing and finishing operations, although in certain cases they may also be supplied unground.

Profile modifications: tooth tip chamfer, protuberance, topping, flank modifications for tip and/or root relief on gear, modification of pressure angle, combinations of several of the above modifications.

| Rocking type inspection instruments for gears and splines are a cost-efficient solution for single productions and small batches. With a bit of skill, the actual dimension over and between balls, i.e. the highest measurement point, can be found by rocking the instrument. We recommend a Frenco UPM-certificate for all VA inspection instruments in order to verify a sufficiently small measuring uncertainty regarding the tolerance to be measured. |

The KEM Deburring Machine has been developed in WERA
technical center and it is now built under license by FIMAT.
It has been designed for deburring and chamfering special and bevel gears.
The machine concept is optimized for short serials and a wide
variety of work parts. The tool features 5 degrees of liberty and
is able to perform any work part profile with extreme precision
and speed. It also suits other complex work part shapes requiring
precise and sharp chamfering.

| Gleason-Hurth ZEA 4 Rotary Deburring Machine is designed for the dry-deburring of disc-type workpieces of up to 280 mm and shafts with 400 mm length. The funnel shaped machining area ensures ideal chip disposal. Advantages of dry deburring include the deletion of workpiece dry cleaning and health hazards due to oil addition, excellent environmental conditions, simple and easy chip disposal and cost savings without oil. Machine is also available for wet processing. |
