The Barksdale Tank Level Indicating Systems are sensors for remote indication level of liquid media. The vibrating blade detector VEGASWING 60 became the standard for the anti-overflow applications on liquids. This solution offers maximum guarantees of safety because independent and not influenced by the same physical sizes as measurements of level. Concerned with safety units (valve, pump, warning signal, alarms,...) are directly connected downstream on a circuit separately which can be controlled regularly by simple support on a key test located on the off-set electronics of the detector. The threshold does not require any adjustment, it completely transparent because is given by the length of the sensor and the assembly. The principle is without wear and maintenance. Aggressive products are detected with reliability with materials with high chemical behavior like the hastelloy or enamel. These detectors offer a very broad applicatif spectrum because insensitive with the variations of dielectric, viscosity, pressure, temperature and foams. They in addition have a continuous self-monitoring which announces any defect instantaneously (rupture of line, failure of the blades, corrosion, short-circuit, etc.). Approvals ATEX II G for explosive zones are available and of the versions answering the classes of safety SIL 2 and SIL 3 according to standard IEC 61508 are deliverable.

This type of agitator is implemented on high vessels when the heart of the process takes place in the inferior part. It, so , avoids long agitation lines (hanging disposition or with bottom bearing).

EDUCTOR PRINCIPLES:
BEX eductors use a unique venturi design which enables smaller pumps to circulate large volumes of tank solution. The eductor will circulate four to five gallons of solution for each gallon pumped.
BEX eductors are used for mixing chemicals, suspending solids, adjusting pH, "sweeping" debris or sludge toward a filter intake and many other useful applications.

IBC Mixers
Mixing in Intermediary Bulk Containers (IBCs) can be a challenging task. With the restricted opening and problematic vessel geometry it is difficult to find a mixer which can operate efficiently in these containers. Conventional agitators can provide adequate in-tank movement at low viscosities, but they are generally less effective and can be difficult to clean.
The Silverson Ultramix is designed to provide solutions to challenges such as this. The small diameter dynamic mixing head provides vigorous in-tank mixing, even at higher viscosities, eliminating dead areas in square vessels. This also reduces power requirements and simplifies cleaning the Ultramix is designed for CIP (Cleaning-in-Place) and complies with 3A, USDA and cGMP requirements.
To further enhance the capabilities of the Ultramix in this application Silverson has designed a mixing station for use with IBCs. The unit incorporates a number of safety features and is available as either a mobile model which can be moved between vessels, or a floor/wall mounted station for operation in a designated area. Various levels of automation are available from safety interlocked manual operation to fully automated systems.

VITO temperature measurement systems for gauging temperature and volume
Anybody that wishes to determine the quantity of product present in bulk storage tanks has to take the product temperature into account. After all, temperature is a determining factor for the volume and hence the density of a product. ENRAF offers a comprehensive line of products for accurate temperature measurement. That line ranges from single spot temperature probes to the advanced VITO 16 element multiple thermosensor thermometer (MTT) for temperature and volume measurement.

Designed to slip easily into the bed of a pick-up truck, Seraphin Slip-On Volumetric Calibration Unit can speed the job of calibrating multiple fuel dispensing units, while at the same time, enhancing safety. The unit consists of three 5 gallon or 20 liter NIST compliant bottom drain provers individually plumbed to 80 gallon stainless steel transfer tanks.
