Digital density meters with up to five decimal places for measuring density, relative density and concentration of aqueous solutions in a range of 0.00000 – 1.99999 g/cm³. Measuring method is based on established oscillating U-tube technology. The U-tube made of glass is monitored through the window to ensure that no gas bubble falsifies measurement results. The device has a high-precision recirculation air-temperature control based on a Peltier element. Calibration is performed with pure water and dry air. A dry-air unit and a peristaltic pump for sample handling are included. The operation is intuitive and done by a user-friendly touch screen. All important settings are visible on the main screen and stored in an SQL data base together with measuring results. Data storage covers last 999 measurements. Micromeritics new AccuPyc II 1340 Gas Displacement Pycnometry System are fast, fully automatic analyzers that provide high-speed, high-precision volume measurements and density calculations on a wide variety of materials. The AccuPyc completes most analyses in less than three minutes with excellent accuracy by using a gas displacement technique to determine absolute density of powders, solids, and slurries having volumes from 0.01 to 350 cm3.

The DENSITRAK® Model D625 liquid density meter utilizes the spring mass principle for measuring the fluid density. A portion of the "u" tube is energized to vibrate at its natural resonant frequency by using an electrical feedback driving system. A change in the vibrating mass, (as a result of change in the fluid density) shifts the resonant frequency. A CSI SPUD signal processing unit for density uses temperature, pressure and the shift in frequency to determine the density of the measured fluid.

Digital density meters measure density, specific gravity and other related values (I.e. alcohol%, BRIX°, API degrees) with high precision and short measuring time.
Measuring principle:
A hollow glass tube vibrates at a certain frequency. This frequency changes when the tube is filled with the sample: the higher the mass of the sample, the lower the frequency. This frequency is measured and converted into density.
Benchtop instruments are equipped with a built-in Peltier thermostat to control the temperature (no water bath required).

PORTABLE LIQUID IN-TANK DENSITY METERS DM-250 SERIES
Portable Submersible Density meter DM-250.1 and DM-250.2 are best suited for liquid density and temperature measurements directly in the storage or process tanks (up to 30 meters depth). No labor extensive and errors critical sampling required. Instead, the sensor of DM-250.1 and DM-250.2 are submersed at any required level and record spot density and real temperature at that point directly in the liquid.
