Legendary CHA Series Heat-Les™ Professional dryers (1,800-12,100 scfm)
CHA Series Heat-Les™ desiccant compressed air drying is the most reliable, energy efficient, large-flow heatless dryer available. Standard designs are offered for flows ranging from 1,800 to 12,100 scfm, pressures from 60 to 150 psig, and pressure dew points of -40°F to -100°F. Other sizes and pressures are available upon request. These dryers can be used in continuous or intermittent service, downstream of oil lubricated or oil-free compressors suppliers, and are compatible with corrosive, toxic or explosive environments. Every unit we build incorporates our AMLOC® energy management system to assure long component life cycles and maximum energy savings.
Simple design with few moving parts for economical first cost and dependable operation.
Legendary Century Series control valves suppliers feature stainless steel internal parts designed specifically for desiccant drying service and tested to 1,000,000 cycles, bubble-tight.
Patented AMLOC® Energy Management System for maximum energy savings.
Advanced Dryer Control System (ADC) includes a functioning schematic for easy reference to system operation.
Down-flow drying extends desiccant life 5 to 7 years and prevents desiccant attrition during upset (fluidization) conditions.

TZ (200 cfm)
Desiccant ThermoZorb Heatless Regenerative
The ThermoZorb Series dryer is a heatless desiccant dryer made up of two ASME vassels filled with desiccant material, which are assembled together with inlet and outlet manifolds. One chamber is in operation (dryer), while the opposite chamber is regenerating using the pressure swing adsorption (PSA) method. A small volume of the dried pneumatics is used to regenerate the saturated desiccant bed by expanding dried air from line pressure to atmospheric pressure, removing the water absorbed by the desiccant material. These professional dryers are supplied with mounted professional filters.
All Models are supplied with 115V-1Ph-60Hz electrics. Ratings are based on a 100 degree F inlet air temperature, 100 psiG inlet air pressure to deliver a -40 degree F pressure dew point. Maximum inlet air temperature is 120 degree F, and maximum inlet air pressure is 150 psiG.
ThermoZorb (TZ) Heatless Regenerative Dryers:
IR's TZ: The premier heatless regenerative product available on the market.
Utilizes dry, compressed air for purge regeneration.
A GP pre-filter and DP after-filter are necessary to maintain desiccant life and improve downstream air quality |
