Bellows metering pumps operate on a positive displacement principle. Pumps are designed to displace both corrosive and non corrosive fluids. Accurate and repeatable to 0.5% from stroke to stroke, when pump is set 50% to 100% of full stroke. Dry run capability, self priming, and no dynamic seals. Discharge pressure is maintained over the entire flow range of the pump. Poppet valves are utilized to prevent backflow; and springs are available to provide a positive shutoff, preventing siphoning through the pump in applications where a positive suction head exists.
Typical applications include film and x-ray processors, silver recovery systems, wafer and silicon chip washers and processors, detergent dispensers, blood analyzing equipment, industrial floor scrubbers, thermo therapy equipment, waste removal systems, and wastewater and water treatment systems.

CONCEPT
The Micro Diaphragm Gas Sampling Pumps from KNF
are based on a simple principal - an elastic diaphragm,
fixed on its edge, moves up and down its central point
by means of an eccentric. In this way the medium is
transferred using automatic valves.

VACUUBRAND's aluminum design diaphragm pump is a perfect match for many applications in the laboratory and operations because it is oil-free and whisper quiet, and because it requires so little service. Diaphragms have especially long lives, and hermetically seal the drive space from the pumping chamber to protect mechanical parts from corrosion. The pumps achieve their distinctively high performance from high pumping chamber volume relative to the minimal dead space. Highly flexible FPM double diaphragms with fabric reinforcement guarantee an extremely long diaphragm lifetime. Pumps for the printing and paper industry have to meet definite requirements. The pneumatic diaphragm pumps of the ALMATEC F-Series have been developed especially for applications with glues, flexo-print inks, and UV-varnishes.
ALMATEC pneumatic diaphragm pumps of the F-Series are available in two sizes (F 10 and F 20) with max. capacities of 600 resp. 1200 l/h.
The special design includes two separated liquid chambers as well as an integrated pulsation damper, so the pumps provide delivery as well as re-delivery. No second pump is required.
Example flexo-print ink: Ink is transported to the printing machine via the delivery chamber. The second chamber of the pump can be used as an extractor pump. Ink not needed can be sucked from the doctor chamber back to the supply container.
F-Series pumps meet the ATEX requirements of the directive 94/9/EG.

ALMATEC pneumatic diaphragm pumps of type AD 6 are a special development for laboratory applications and for sampling water from wells for continuous monitoring of the groundwater under landfills.
They have a maximum delivery volume of 250 l/h which can be infinitely varied by adjusting the air flow. AD 6 pumps are equipped with spring-loaded valves and can therefore be installed in any position.
The housing is made of solid PTFE conductive. This material is resistant to corrosion by virtually all media. Its conductivity permits use of the pump in explosion-hazard areas and for inflammable liquids.
AD 6 pumps meet the ATEX requirements of the directive 94/9/EG.
