Typical applications for chemistry diaphragm pumps include evacuating chemically aggressive gases from such equipment as rotary evaporators, vacuum drying cabinets and centrifugal concentrators. Chemistry diaphragm pumps from VACUUBRAND have uncompromising chemistry designs: They are very resistant to chemical vapors from inlet to exhaust, and are very tolerant of condensate. Our two-, three- and four-stage pumps also have a gas ballast valve that helps to preserve pump performance when working with condensable vapors. Pumping chambers are hermetically separated from the drive space, ensuring long lifetimes of mechanical parts. Most importantly, diaphragm pumps are oil-free, for vastly reduced service demands compared with oil-sealed pumps. They eliminate the water waste of water-jet aspirators, and the contaminated waste-oil disposal of rotary vane pumps.

VACUUBRAND diaphragm pumps are totally oil free, mechanical vacuum pumps. Diaphragm pumps are the efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to water jet pumps. They do not consume water and, therefore, they do not produce contaminated waste water. Diaphragm pumps can be used in a multitude of applications for vacuum generation in laboratories and process plants, such as vacuum filtration, vacuum degasing, vacuum impregnation, vacuum drying chambers, rotary evaporators, distillation, gel dryers, gas analytical systems and roughing of wide-range turbo molecular pumps.
Diaphragm pumps offer low ultimate vacuum down to 80 mbar (one-stage pumps), 9 mbar (two-stage pumps), 2 mbar (three-stage pumps) or 0.3 mbar (four-stage pumps). Optimized kinetics for minimum work and wear of the diaphragm result in high reliability, low scuffing, long life and low noise level of the diaphragm. Only selected resistant materials such as FPM (e.g. Viton® fluoroelastomers) and aluminium or PTFE compounds - depending on the version - are used for the gas and vapour contacted parts.

General descriptino
HINDHIVAC manufactures different models of Rotary Piston Vacuum Pumps. These Rotary Piston Vacuum Pumps are robust and are most reliable. They can be used in combination with Roots Vacuum Blowers.
These Piston Pumps are extremely useful in handling high volumes of gases and are provided with Gas Ballast Valves to pump out condensable vapors. These piston pumps are built to give uninterrupted service even under strenuous working conditions with economical power and oil consumption.
These Piston Pumps are water cooled to ensure continuous duty with high efficiency. The Piston Pump has a unique design in which the pump ensures that while the piston continues to rotate it maintains isolation of the compression and the suction cycle, drawing out the compressed air through the exhaust valve. The pump has a low oil charge and the gas ballast is provided to avoid oil contamination due to condensable vapors. This Piston Pump is water cooled to avoid over heating and for continuous running

C-KLR ZEPHYR
Volume flow: 80 - 140 m³/h
Overpressure: +1.0 bar
Vacuum: -0.6 bar
With the innovative, dry-running C-KLR ZEPHYR multi-claw range from Elmo Rietschle, pressure and vacuum can be combined in a single claw stage. All operation points on pressure and suction side work almost independently from each other. The C-KLR ZEPHYR operates economically and highly efficiently thanks to the patented triplelobe design with intermediate charging of air. This new design reduces pulsation in the pipes connected to the pump, and keeps the noise level low. An integrated cooling system for compressed air allows operation in applications, where compressed air
temperatures are of importance.
Advantages:
- High efficiency, dry and frictionless compression
- Low maintenance
- Integrated air cooling without additional cooling medium
- Suitable for multiple applications
This series is also available as vacuum pump (C-VLR ZEPHYR) and compressor (C-DLR ZEPHYR).
Typical Applications:
Printing & Paper, Chemical, Environmental, Packaging, Pneumatic Conveying, Woodworking

The Power Pump Portfolio.
Roots pumps for Every Low and Medium Vacuum Applications.
Our Roots pumps offer pumping speeds ranging from 250 to 25,000 m3/h. They can be safely employed for low and medium vacuum applications in the coating or semiconductor industry, in research & development, metallurgy or in chemistry and process technology.
The gear and bearing chambers in our Roots pumps are completely separate from the gas pumping chamber. Because the rotors operate without making contact, dry, hydrocarbon-free operation is assured.
A further advantage: Thanks to air cooling, operating costs are significantly lower than with water cooling. The design principle of our proven Roots pumps has also been expanded to include magnetic couplings. These hermetically sealed pumps make oil leaks a thing of the past. We have also developed special pumps for processes that take place in explosive environments or for evacuating explosive gases.
