Slurry removal is an essential part of day-to-day
operations in a wide range of industries, such as
mining, ore dressing, sand contracting, ash handling
and steel milling.
The applications in these industries make heavy
demands on the slurry pumps, particularly in terms of
the costs incurred when it comes to wear and tear,
repairs and maintenance.
In this series of pumps the wet end, indeed all wear
parts, are made of hardened high-chrome cast iron,
which provides complete wear protection. The highchrome
impeller, incorporates a swept-back design for
sustained high efficiency and clog-free performance in
the most severe applications.
The drive unit can be easily detached from the wet
end for fast access to wear parts. And there is no
need to replace the entire wet end because the split
casing design enables the volute lining to be easily
accessed and replaced.
Flygt is the only manufacturer that offers its customers
a total solution for slurry handling. The pumps can be
supplied with an agitator and/or a mixer for a cleaner
sump. Optional internal cooling allows pumping down
to low levels, avoiding sediment build-up – we call it
Clean Sump Technology.
Slurry pumps have capacities of up to 350 l/s and
pump heads up to 100 metres. |

All of us need clean water
All the water man uses is returned to the natural water cycle and so rivers, lakes and ground water are threatened with pollution.
To avoid this is the task of sewage treatment plants. This task is difficult but it can be solved. In order to do this, they are assisted by WILO submersible motor pumps.
Competence in Sewage Plant Technique
We have been manufacturing submersible motor pumps for water treatment and sewage purification for purification for several decades.
Installed in sewage plants, storm water retaining basins or pumping stations, WILO pumps contribute worldwide help to solve sewage problems thoroughly.
- Pumping unscreened sewage
- Evacuation of grit collectors
- Pumping to digesters and thickeners

Dynex checkball piston pumps are available for use with various water-based fluids including water glycol. The pumps operate at maximum pressures from 10 000 psi (700 bar) to 15 000 psi (1040 bar).
These pumps are assembled with corrosion resistant parts, are treated for extra protection, ready for customer application of the final protective coating.
In the checkball design, internal bearing lubrication is provided by the pumped fluid. This prevents cross-contamination which may occur in other pump designs requiring a secondary fluid for lubrication. It also eliminates the cost of a lubrication circuit or regular maintenance of a lubricating oil.
Dynex pumps are ideal for wellhead safety control systems, subsea applications, industrial equipment including hydroform presses, and other applications requiring fire-resistant and environment-friendly fluids.
Systems currently using triplex and plunger design pumps can especially benefit from Dynex pumps, which are less than half the size, weight and cost. |
