The DXC-390P is a 1/3" type DSP 3-CCD colour video camera which incorporates Exwave™ HAD technology -- a new Sony technology that greatly improves camera sensitivity (F8 at 2000 lx) while reducing smear compared to previous CCD technologies.
Using a C Mount lens and providing resolution of 800 TVL and a high S/N ratio of 61 dB, the DXC-390P is ideal for machine vision, industrial microscopy, digital photography, portrait proofing, amusement rides, point of view (i.e., sports shooting) and scientific image capture applications, where picture accuracy and detail are essential.

This high speed 10bit CMOS camera system comprises advanced CMOS and electronics technology. With the new approach to integrate the image memory (camRAM) into the camera itself, it enables unmatched fast image recording with 820MB/s. The system features an excellent resolution (1280 x 1024pixel) and low noise. It consists of a compact camera with an external intelligent power supply. The image data are transferred via customer selectable standard data interfaces to a computer (IEEE 1394 (“firewire”), camera link). The available exposure times range from 1µs to 5s. This digital CMOS camera system is perfectly suited for high speed camera applications such as material testing, external crash testing or super slow motion movie clips.

space constraints.
Measuring 44x44x56mm, these compact cameras offer the same performance as our enhanced USB 2.0 camera line, delivering outstanding image quality and
value. Features include new locking industrial mini USB and RJ45 GPI/O connector, multiple mounting points,60 fps at full 640x480 resolution, 100+ fps at 320x240 binning mode, and on-board processing. Both color and
monochrome product models are available.
Electronic Global Shutter provides capabilities similar to a mechanical shutter, allowing simultaneous integration of the entire pixel array, and then stopping exposure while image data is read out - idea for capturing objects
in high-speed motion.
Uncompressed images in live streaming video and still image capture are provided across a mini USB 2.0 digital interface. No framegrabber is required.
Advanced camera control is available through a complete Software Developer’s Kit (SDK), with sample code available to quickly integrate camera functions into OEM applications.
Hardware and software based synchronization trigger is provided standard. 32 MB on-board memory is available for frame buffering.

With this wide range of solutions, each with feature-rich benefits, itâ¿¿s never been easier to select the right camera for your specific machine vision applications. The XCD Series of cameras adopts the IEEE 1394b interface that supports the IIDC protocol. By using this interface, users can transfer images to a host PC at speeds of up to 800 Mb/s.
Moreover, because multiple cameras can be connected in a daisy-chain configuration, users can enjoy the benefits of simplified operation in a multi-camera system. When these XCD cameras are daisy-chained, Bus Synchronization and Broadcast Delivery are available. With Bus Synchronization, users can capture images from different angles simultaneously simply by sending a single trigger from the host PC. Broadcast Delivery allows users to capture images from multiple cameras using a software trigger instead of a hardware trigger, which helps to minimize the occurrence of false triggers. This function also allows users to change the settings of multiple cameras simultaneously.
Their compact design and rugged body enables the XCD Series to be integrated into a wide variety of industrial environments.
