Our DigiScan famaly of optical 3D digitizers offer superior performance at affodable pricing. But it is also in flexibility and application potential where they have reached a leading position worldwide. Users have the choice of different configurations varying in resolution, accuracy, working space and speed of measurement. In addition to 3D shape digitizing a texture option can be integrated, enabling the extraction of high resolution photo textures from the object which can then be accurately transferd to the 3D model surface. Since industry standart export formats are supported the resulting models can be used directly and without problems in almost every downstream 3D application software from market. Typical applications inclue design, product development, the medical sector (anthropometrics), arts and crafts and video animation. Knowing that in general customers are looking for a scanning system that can easily be integrated into an existing environment, DigiScan solutions have been designed for modularity in both hardware and software. Customers have the choice of variable configurations and only purchase what they really need. The basic configuration allows for fast generation of a precise 3D point cloud from the object to be measured. In addition, professional software tools are available for the creation and optimization of polygon models, for perfect NURBS surface reconstruction, and for rapid prototyping / reverse engineering.

Digitizers offer several advantages over traditional stand-alone oscilloscopes by delivering an open architecture and flexible software. With a National Instruments digitizer, you can not only perform standard oscilloscope measurements but also easily build other instruments such as spectrum analyzers, transient recorders, and ultrasonic receivers. In addition, you can synchronize multiple NI digitizers and other mixed-signal instruments with picosecond-level accuracy for high-channel-count and mixed-signal applications.
