The high-power diode laser system DiodeStar delivers up to 300 W laser radiation in the near infrared and up to 5 W at 635 nm.
The laser radiation is guided to the point of use with a flexible and extremely robust optical fiber. At the end of this fiber, various lenses can be used to shape the beam in almost every form.
The diode laser and the optics which focus the beam into the optical fiber are mounted into a hermetically sealed housing. This is an excellent foundation for a long life.
The cooling of the diode lasers is performed with micro-channel coolers. The combination of efficient cooling and low operating current lead to expected life of well beyond 10,000 operating hours.
The electrical circuits of the DiodeStar are thoroughly designed. Only components of high quality are used. The current source of the diode laser is supervised by a micro-processor.

Fibre-coupled high power diode lasers are becoming increasingly important in industrial production processes. The versatile units can weld, solder, mark and shape surfaces. OPTOTOOLS high power diode lasers already reach the beam quality of lamp-pumped YAG lasers but are significantly more compact and reliable. The operating cost benefits resulting from their high efficiency make them the most effective laser sources by far.

Fiber coupled arrays feature high brightness fiber coupling, small footprint and very high power in passively cooled packages. They deliver 25W to 120W of laser power through 0.22 NA multimode optical fibers with 100µm to 600µm core.
An integrated optical design, the accurate test and selection of semiconductor materials and the efficient thermal management make these devices the ideal choice for applications requiring reliability, long lifetime and simple passive cooling in a small footprint.

A range of compact and affordable laser modules generating an accurate line or cross at 635nm or 650nm with uniform intensity distribution. The laser modules measure just 29mm in length, with a diameter of only 8mm and are extremely efficient and reliable.
They are ideal for the most demanding industrial and medical applications where space is at a premium, such as handheld instrumentation, targeting, alignment and machine vision.
These laser diode modules generate either a 70 degree full angle cross or a 58 degree or 88 degree full angle line, all factory focused at 1000mm. The focus can be set to other distances on request. The lens system produces an efficiently uniform intensity laser line.
At a visible wavelength of either 650nm or 635nm, these compact laser diode modules offer output powers of 0.9mW or 4mW with power stability of less than 5 per cent. Operating voltage is from 3V to 6V DC at an operating current of 30mA typ, (0.9mW) or 40mA typ, (4mW). Operating temperature range is -10 degrees Centigrade to +40 degrees Centigrade.
The laser modules consist of a brass housing, a laser diode, drive circuit and beam-shaping optics. Electrical connections are made via external flying leads. All modules have static, surge and reverse polarity circuit protection.

Various applications of laser guide line lights
In many fabrication processes, it is helpful for the operator to be able to pre-visualize the path of the tool before the process begins. This offers benefits in efficiency through faster setups with less material waste, in quality through positioning surface features for best appearance and in safety through heightened operator awareness of the zone of danger represented by the tool's motion.
Since 1985, Z-LASER has offered laser guide line lights for just such applications. The bright, highly visible line produced by the laser provides exactly the reference the operator needs to ensure precise alignment between the material and the tool. Whether you require precise positioning for cutting, parts placement or machinery calibration, Z-LASER offers a large range of powerful, industry-tested lasers. The wide variety of available models and output power levels means it's easy to pick the right combination of features for the job at hand.
