Disc springs to DIN 2093 (Group 1, Group 2, Group 3...)
Disc springs to Mubea Factory Standards or other as required
Range of dimensions: outside diameter 8.0 mm to 800 mm
Materials to DIN 2093 (DIN 17 221, DIN 17 222) and special materials (see menu materials)
Disc springs with a thickness of 0.5 mm and greater are shot-peened to improve fatigue life
Springs are phosphated and oiled as a standard (see menu corrosion prevention).
Disk springs are conically-shaped, washer-type components designed to be axially loaded. What makes disc springs unique is that based on the standardized calculations of DIN 2092, the deflection for a given load is predictable and the minimum life cycle can be determined. Disc springs can be statically loaded either continuously or intermittently, or dynamically subjected to continuous load cycling. They can be used singularly or in multiples stacked parallel, in series or in a combination thereof.
- A wide range of load/defl ection characteristics
- High load capacity with small defl ection
- Space savings - high load to size ratio
- No set under design loads
- Longer fatigue life
- Inherent dampening especially with parallel stacking
- Flexibility in stack arrangement to meet your application requirements
Manufactured to the highest quality standards
-Very high force for short movement
-Short axial length, low rate, low movement, and high load
-Stacking capability for a wide variety of spring solutions
-Space saving
-High damping capacity
-Longer service life
-Simplified Inventory
On request, Mubea can deliver disc springs pre-assembled in stacks or on a guiding device.
Advantages:
Assembly is more efficient with pre-assembled stacks
Stack specific load - deflection diagrams (modern load industrial testing machines can provide test loads up to 1000 kN)
Small load tolerances possible
100% load testing can be used to prevent incorrect stacking
Adaptation to special professional fitting requirements in : Couplings, Gearboxes, transmissions, etc.
Mubea will work with the customer to develop special springs to meet the requirements of specific applications.
Five different styles with maximum pressure ratings of 1500 PSI. Selected models are available in aluminum or iron. EPR professional seals are available on most models.
Light to heavy duty braking applications are served by these fast-acting calipers. Sensitive and rapid response to air pressure level also makes them ideal for tension control applications.
Friction pads are secured by quick-release clips.
The MS, MX and GMRP series have spring retraction to insure ample pad clearance when the professional brake is released. The MS and MX series have an interchangeable range of air suppliers of actuators
- Failsafe Protection.
- Long wear life.
- Quick, smooth stopping.
Wichita Spring-Set Air Release Motor Brakes are ideal for failsafe protection of process equipment. Available in foot mounted and C-face options, this improved design has thicker friction discs for longer wear life. The fast acting Spring-Set actuation assures quick, smooth stops.
Disc brakes to slow down, stop, maintain, control. Automatic offsetting or manual of the wear of the trimmings to guarantee a constant air-gap. Standard fixing centers horizontal or vertical
