HBM’s range of inductive displacement transducers are intended for use in a wide range of applications in the R&D, manufacturing and construction industries. The main fields of application include:
Experimental mechanics
Test rig engineering
Automation technology
Production monitoring
Professional press fit operations
Hydraulic cylinder applications
Crack monitoring and detection on buildings
Movement monitoring on structures
Materials testing
Our displacement sensors are extremely compact and ruggedised, insensitive to dirt and thermally insensitive.
The WA series of inductive displacement transducers is used for larger displacements up to 500 mm. Available in either probe or plunger versions, this rugged family of inductive displacement transducers combines very good linearity with excellent thermal behaviour in the shortest possible overall length. The pressure-resistant characteristics of this transducer make it ideal for measuring displacement in industrial hydraulic cylinders.
The WE inductive OEM displacement transducers is especially suited for the automation of many displacement measurement tasks.
The compact transducers of the new WI miniature displacement transducers and the WI-EL and WET complementary series are suitable for small displacements. |
