VANTAGE
DC fuel transfer pumps
The all new DC pump for plant equipment featuring new innovations in design and compact in size, incorporating a new level of pump intelligence allowing the pump to monitor its own activity and performance.
Studies have shown that, in the majority of cases, fuel-transfer pumps break down because of improper handling by users, including excessive or extreme use, accidental start-ups, or simple carelessness, that can leave the pump running for hours on end. Breakdowns translate into loss of time and money while waiting for the pump to be repaired. These difficulties are overcome with VANTAGE. Thanks to new, internationally patented technology, VANTAGE automatically prevents situations from becoming critical.

Their special design with low weight and small dimensions make the UVD units extremely compact and reliable. This is achieved through the direct assembly of rotor on motor shaft and a powerful centrifugal fan for cooling. UVD vacuum pumps are suitable for evacuation of small, closed systems with residual pressure of up to 120 mbar.

Heavy duty process multistage pumps, axially split, diffuser type with single or double entry 1st stage impeller.
Pump components geometry optimised through hydraulic, structural, thermal and dynamic F.E.M. analysis lead to an high product reliability. The "modular design" philosophy permits to cover a wide range of applications replacing the main hydraulic components i.e. only impeller/diffuser. Casing, shaft, mechanical seals, bearing frames result therefore fully interchangeable and reusable. Opposed impeller and diffuser configuration to minimise axial and radial hydraulic thrusts.
Large eye single suction or double suction 1st stage impeller to meet low NPSH requirements.
Hydraulic performances checked on a Single Stage Test Equipment. This is particularly useful to verify the effective 1st stage NPSH.
Easy internal inspectability and maintenance.
Central and lateral balancing drums adequately shaped to optimise pump rotordynamic behaviour.
Near centerline casing mounting for high temperature stability.
Deep stuffing boxes, designed in accordance to API 682 Std., suitable to accept any type of mechanical or packing seals.
Axial split bearing housing for easy inspection and maintenance procedure.
Labyrinths and deflectors at either bearing housing to maximise protection against dirt.
A wide range of sizes and material combinations complete the variety of the offered product.
Main design features
Fully designed according to latest edition of API 610 Std.
Number of stages rangeable from 4 to 13.
Rotor operates away it's critical speeds.
Side-Side suction and discharge nozzles integrally cast on lower casing half.
Contoured grafoil or glassfiber gasket to assure joint between casing halves and eliminate interstage leakages.
A wide range of sizes, number of stages and material combinations complete the variety of the offered product.
