Measure flow from outside a pipe. The Greyline DFM 5.0 is designed for "difficult liquids" that would damage regular flow meters - wastewater, slurries, sludge, chemicals, viscous liquids and abrasives. There is no obstruction to flow and no pressure drop. The standard, strap-on ultrasonic sensor fits any pipe 1/2" (12.5 mm) Inside Diameter or larger. The electronics/display enclosure can be mounted nearby.
- Non-Contacting Ultrasonic Sensor
- Large, Backlit LCD Display
- 12-Digit Totalizer
- Reverse Flow Measurement
- Isolated 4-20mA (1000 ohm)
- 2 Programmable Control Relays
- Automatic Sensitivity Adjustment
- New Signal Processing System
- Built-in 5-Key Calibrator
- RFI Rejection Filters
- Optional 2 million point Data Logger with USB output to Flash memory

Series UFX Hand-held Doppler Flow Meters provide accurate and reliable flow velocity assessments in closed pipe, liquid systems. UFX requires that the liquid be either solids-bearing or aerated at a minimum of 100 ppm. The product utilizes a single, hand-held transducer which is placed on the outside of metal or plastic pipe. Within seconds after placing the transducer, the large LCD will provide a velocity reading in either FPS (feet per second) or MPS (meters per second). The UFX comes with a flow calculator/slide chart for conversion of velocity measurements to popular volumetric measurements.

It's ideal for flow troubleshooting, balancing and checking performance of permanent flow meters. The new PDFM 4.0 is fast and easy to operate – you can mount the sensor on the outside a pipe in less than a minute. Use the built-in keypad and calibration menu to set up the flowmeter for your application. The PDFM 4.0 works on any liquid containing bubbles or solids and is recommended for "difficult liquids" like wastewater, slurries, sludge, chemicals, viscous liquids and abrasives. Measures flow through most metal and plastic pipes including PVC, ductile iron, carbon steel and stainless steel.

Hot Tap provides accurate flow rate measurement in full and pressurized pipe applications in pipes 18" (460 mm) diameter or larger.
Hot Tap combines ADFM pulse Doppler velocity profiling technology with a unique sensor assembly suitable for insertion into full, operating 18” and larger diameter pipes. It measures flow rate to within ±2% of actual flow rate, even in difficult applications such as installations near bends, short straight runs, near pumps, etc. Applications include:
• Wastewater collection systems
• Combined sewer systems
• Wastewater treatment facilities
• Irrigation canals and channels
• Industrial process
• Stormwater outfalls

The Thermo Scientific SX40 flowmeter combines dedicated, dual frequency Doppler (DFD) technology with a patented digital signal processing technique to accurately determine the flow of liquids that contain particulates or air bubbles. By correlating two independent ultrasonic signals at different frequencies, it is able to automatically identify and eliminate noise errors from sources such as variable frequency drives. The SX40 incorporates clamp-on sensors which are easily installed for sludge management in sewage treatment plants and industrial applications, including slurry and effluent monitoring. Its large backlit graphics display provides excellent visibility even in poorly lit environments and it can be easily commissioned in a fraction of the time necessary to configure competitive models. Outputs include a 12-bit, optically isolated 4-20 mA analog signal and up to four independent programmable relays. It is available with a contact closure that helps to eliminate unwanted or erroneous flow volume data when backflow conditions occur. The instrument also offers a powerful 90,000 point data logger with non-volatile memory, enabling users to avoid the additional expense of a chart recorder or external data logger.
