The UniCen is a turning and milling center with integrated B-axis where all requirements for complete machining have already been implemented: turning, milling, drilling and thread-cutting all on one machine. The workpiece is loaded on one machine only and can then be finished completely. With up to five interpolating axes even complex free form faces can be machined.

The Unicom 6000 machining centre is ideally suited for vertical turning and multi-sided machining of complex components. This highly flexible and powerful machining centre for complete machining results from the continuous development of vertical machining centres over a period of more than 25 years.
The concept of Unicom 6000 is based on a moving table with integrated carousel turning station and an interface that can receive pallets of up to 2.500 mm in diameter. The table movement is designated as Y-axis and it runs underneath a traverse with cross slide and spindle carrier. The movements of cross slide and spindle carrier are designated as X-and Z-axis respectively.
Unicom 6000:
4-Axes complete machining centre with HSK100-A interface, carousel turning station and pallet changer. The machine can be equipped with a right angular head or a universal head, in combination with C-axis mode in the carousel turning station.
Unicom 6000-HV:
5-Axes complete machining centre with carousel turning station, pallet changer and HSK 63-A interface in the integrated Unisign Nutator NC machining head as 5th axis, in combination with C-axis mode in the carousel turning station. This configuration is capable of 5-axes machining of complex components.

The Leonard machines are a complete and modular range of Horizontal Lathes for the machining on medium to large work pieces with highest performances in terms of rigidity for rough operations and precision for finishing operations. The main feature of these machines is the technology of the preloaded Hydrostatic ways which are successfully used for both cross and longitudinal slides.

Contrary to popular belief, tensile strength is not the only parameter used to judge a palm oil mill chain. In fact it is NOT even the most important parameter. A more important feature, called WEAR RESISTANCE is more critical when a palm oil mill chain is to be selected.
WHY?
Because safety factor has been taken into consideration at design stage and when a chain is selected, it means that the tensile strength of the chain meets that of the design value. So there is no necessity to use a chain with much higher tensile strength than the design value.
On the other hand, the understanding of WEAR RESISTANCE is more complex. First of all, it does not have a unit of measurement (such as KN, kgf or lbf in tensile strength). The measurement is simply chain elongation measured in terms of percentage of elongation (amount of elongation to the original chain length expressed in percentage). So the smaller percentage means a better chain used in the same period of time. Generally, a conveyor chain needs replacement when it reaches 2 % elongation. The most important measurement is therefore how long before a chain reaches its life span of 2 % elongation.

Twiflex VMS-DP Mill Brake Stand. One of four units supplied to Metso Minerals for use at the Telfer Mine, Australia. The two units combined produce 16Million NM of brake torque!
The VMS-DP Mill Brake brakes will be installed on SAG (semi-autogenous grinding) Mills used for the extraction of copper and gold from virgin rock. Fresh ore is continually conveyed into the mills that are pre-charged with various sizes of steel balls, crushing the rock when the mill rotates. The ore is crushed until small enough to pass through the openings in the discharge grates. The material is then conveyed to a secondary Ball Mill for fine grinding.
The brakes which are used for emer-gency stopping and holding have been designed specifically for this application and will be the largest that Twiflex has ever manufactured. The VMS-DP caliper is approximately the size of an office desk and weighs approximately 2 metric tonnes. Each brake produces 768kN of braking force, 4-6 calipers provide braking to each mill flange.

3Refix is remarkably simple way to lay a solid foundation from which to view the future with confidence – tool up without indication and cut your production costs!
3Refix technology is based on a modular hole pattern with 100x100 mm pitch and 20 mm diameter reference holes. The reference tables have clearly-marked reference holes – A1, A2, B1, B2 etc – and every accessory has two 20 mm diameter holes, which pick up the references from the table. The R0-hole gives the X/Y-position and the R1-hole gives the angle relative to the axes of the machine. This makes it possible to set up the workpiece without the need for alignment and gauging afterwards. So 3Refix accessories provide an unmistakable and fixed position with known references.
The accessories in the 3Refix range usually have a reference height of 30 mm, among other things to allow machining straight through the workpiece. The design also allows a flush pot to be pushed in under the workpiece during EDM machining.
The full effect of 3Refix technology is attained by consistent application with general systemization and standardization of all machine tables and accessories. System 3R can supply reference tables for practically all types and sizes of machines – reference tables that give a distinct interface between machine table and auxiliary tool.
