A diesel-electrical unit allows working in tunnels with very minimal pollution.
Performance
Median can be in position above a hole to drill, 3 times quicker than a conventional articulated rig. So it increases the industrial drilling rate a lot. Rotation heads are powerful to drill all types of ground.
Safety
Median is equipped with an articulated control panel which can be at the left or at the right, and with one portable control panel for the translation functions. RDSH1000 Hydraulic Rotary Head
The RDSH1000 is the largest rotary head manufactured by TEI Rock Drills and supplies 10,000 ft/lbs of torque to the drill string. This rotary head is used on the HEM1000 excavator drill and also is an option on the TD75 limited access drill. It is primarily used to turn down hole hammers up to 12-inch and used to install casing for micropiles.
The RDSH1000 is a sturdy and reliable rotary head.
