GM-20A Drill, a light weight big-hole engineering drill, is im0proved and designed based on GM-20 drill. The new type drill unites the tower and machine body. This type of drill integrates the drill's advantages of the type's turn plates, the power heads and the main shaft drills. The drill has such advantages as high drilling efficiency and precision, powerful torque, wider ranges of speed and smaller coefficient of oversize of hole. It can drill in the ways of forcing feed or reducing bit load drilling by hydraulic system. Oil cylinders of the drill can raise or pull down the tower safely and quickly, move and fit the hole position conveniently. After moving the machine, the bit of two meter diameter can be directly lifted or run in. height of the tower is ten and five meters, which can directly pull down the steel cages. The assistant hoist's capacity is strong. The drill is equipped with step device as to fitting the hole position conveniently. The control handlebars are collected so easy to operating. The drill can be used in the drilling technologies of normal or reverse circulation in the quaternary period gravel or hand rock ground. The drill can be mainly used for big-hole grouting pole holes drilling of high building, port and bridge.

Baya is the 3rd generation of hydraulic grab and has been tested numerous times in order to improve the drilling rates, which are the best available on the market, today.
It combines the advantage of the pendular grab (versatility) with the Kelly system (performance and quality).
Use
Baya can be used to construct diaphragm walls or prefabricated walls, cut off diaphragm, oblong piles etc… Baya drills up to great depths, into a large range of grounds (silt to strong sandstone with Rc 100 bar). Clients use Baya where they used hydromill before.
Versatility
Its erection is quick, and so is its dismounting with its cardan system and its quick transport kit, which allows carrying the boom elements at the same time.
Baya has a large range of drilling widths from 19.7’’ to 59’’ and a large range of drilling lengths from 106.3’’ to 165.4’’, thanks to the fast interchangeable elements.
Performance
Thanks to its penetration coefficient and its closing force, Baya’s energy is the most powerful in the world, and allows drilling into harder grounds or drilling more quickly.
Thanks to its Kelly and motorised turning joint, Baya can go into the drilling trench very quickly or can empty its bucket above a truck very easily. Finally, the automatic half turn allows better verticality. Baya’s clamshells are all equipped with one chisel allowing better penetration into hard grounds.
Safety
The assembling systems of the different elements are simple and quick, assuring work with safety.
|
|
With an innovating style but serviceable integrated, BAYA compact is mainly very fonctional, robust, with a high capacity grab, with a high cutter force, breifly a very hight efficiency. BAYA compact has been designed to increase the mud circulation and to reduce the maintenance costs.
Powerful, compact, modular to comply with all the drilling need of diaphragm walls or barettes , BAYA compact can drill down to 70 m depth. BAYA compact is equipped with an incorporated chisel to cut the hard layers.

HCM GEO
This is the only attachment offered for geothermal installation. The base machine for this drill must be the largest of skid steer models with 100 HP engine, rubber tracks and a weight around 10,000 lbs.
Using the same mast and rotary head as the DrillAll GEO the HCM GEO allows the contractor to utilize a skid steer loader on site for all phases of geothermal loop installation. Including digging manifold pits, trenching between bore holes, pallet forks for moving grout and grout plants as well as the bucket to clean up after the job is finished.
Offering the use of 10-foot drill pipes and casing this rig is capable of drill holes up to 200 feet in depth and up to 5-inch diameter. There are two stabilizers built into this attachment to better stabilize the mast during the drilling process.
|
|
DrillAll GEO
The DrillAll GEO was designed for limited access drilling in the retrofit geothermal market. It is well suited for installation of the DX copper loops offering 45-degree tilt in the mast. This allows the circular hole pattern of DX to be drilled out only moving the machine one time. To accommodate the high angles required for DX installation the mast uses 5-foot drill pipes.
For GX installation the DrillAll GEO can be fitted with a mast using 10-foot drill pipes while limiting the mast angle to +- 5 degrees. In this configuration the DrillAll can accomplish the 200-foot holes required for GX geothermal.
This is an excellent machine, built entirely at our Montrose facility it is a powerful drill packed into a small package.

New sources of energy
The increasing scarcity of fossil fuels coupled with the ever growing energy consumption forces us to continuously search for new sources of energy. One of these new sources is geothermal energy. This technology uses the fact that the temperature underground is steadily rising with increasing depth. The heat from the soil is transferred to a transport medium, circulating through flexible tubes.
The tubes are installed in the bore holes. The depth of the bore hole varies depending on the application and the required KW-rating. Common depths for private use range around 50 meters. Commercial applications require depths of up to 2500 meters. Heat exchangers either use the temperature of the medium directly or transform the heat of the medium into electrical energy.

MP250 Man-Portable
In our effort to supply the foundation contractor with a versatile drill that could install foundation elements, as well as man-portable, TEI began manufacturing the MP250.
Everything about the MP250 makes this drill the best for those impossible places to get a hole. Look at some of these features:
* Aluminum mast can be cut to any length.
* Can use either the TE250 drifter or RDS250 rotary.
* Optional single hydraulic foot clamp.
* Control valves are removable, and can operate from a distance.
* TE250 drifter can install up to 40mm hollow bars.
* Drifter and rotary head use the same mounting bracket.
* Rotary head can turn up to a 4-inch down the hole hammer, or 6-inch augers.
* The MP250 and the MMC250 use the same ACF feed system.
* The MP250 makes a good lightweight basket drill.
Separate gas or diesel units can supply power, or the MP250 can also get its power from a skid steer loader.
The MP250 is the perfect drill to get into those places you thought were impossible to get a hole. Please call someone at TEI today and ask how this versatile tool can be adapted to solve your next very limited access job.

TD75 Electric/Hydraulic Drill
The TD75 was designed to install micropiles inside and around buildings, bridge footings and shafts. Powered by a 50 HP electric motor the TD75 uses rotary heads or drifters with torques up to 10,000 ft/lbs. The mast can be made to any height, accommodating even the most difficult access.
The rubber tracks utilize a unique scissoring design to open and close, this action allows the TD75 to close to an amazing 29.5 inches. Expanding out to 49.5 inches when drilling.
Electrical power to the TD75 can be supplied by a minimum of 75kW generator or by a 440 electric panel supplying 60 amps. By only using the single electric cable the TD75 is much more convenient to maneuver is tight spots than with rigs using a bundle of hydraulic hoses.
