Since 1975 this original MAUSER development is established as worldwide standard among plastic packaging. MAUSER Standard Open Top Drums meet the european CEN standard acc. to DIN EN12714 and are approved for solid3) and liquid4) filling goods.
For filling volumes from 20 to 220 liters, their design of blow molded drum body, removable lid and clamping ring enables easy filling and disposal.
Optional lateral mold handles or handles make manual handling for capacities of 60 liters easier. Advantages, which MAUSER reached by modified lid design and reinforced clamping rings, also for liquid dangerous goods. For our Standard Open Top Drum, various lids, ventilation systems, inliners and accessories are available.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENT
As per client's choice.
1st solution:
Installation of the tank in a "dry tunnel".
Installation of the tank on a concrete solid mass introducing a bed with a minimal height of 10 cm. This bed must be built from clean sand (without any stones) or any other equivalent material carefully compacted, allowing a continuous support for the tank. In addition, a ballast material of same nature will be placed with the same care around the tank.
2nd solution:
Installation of the tank in a "humid tunnel" i.e. being likely to be flooded. In this case, the tank will be imperatively surrounded by a "gravel of cement" and it should never be drained in presence of high level of water.

Our polypropylene tanks are fabricated from high gloss, stress relieved, sheet stock up to 1" thick and conform to ASTM-4101, Group 1, Class 1, Grade II. Each tank is welded using a state of the art extrusion type welder with continuous strand capability. Tanks can be fabricated to include specialty liners such as Koroseal, PVC, or lead.
KCH tanks can be equipped with specified rim widths, weirs, and fittings, and equipped with polypropylene encased tubular steel girth bands for added support, where applicable.

Stainless steel and carbon steel tanks are manufactured from specified gauge sheet stock. All welds are applied utilizing continuous MIG welding, inside and out.
Carbon steel tanks exterior are painted with a corrosion resistant epoxy paint.
