Complete Circular Vibratory Fluid Bed Systems Skid Mounted Ready To Process
Greater performance in less space at lower cost than ever before possible.
Kason fluid bed industrial dryers, industrial coolers, and moisturizers employ an innovative circular processing unit which is inherently stronger, lighter, and less costly to build and finish to sanitary standards than rectangular units having equivalent surface area.
Because the circular fluid bed processor is also more compact, complete fluid bed systems can be pre-engineered and pre-configured on caster-mounted frames, ready for installation and start up.
Moreover, Kason circular fluid bed professional processors maintain an unprecedented level of operating efficiency across a wide range of model sizes from 18 to 84 inches(460-2540mm) in diameter for laboratory and pilot plant testing as well as batch or high-volume in-line drying, cooling, or moisturizing of bulk foods, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals. |

DRYING WITHOUT AGGLOMERATION
The Nara-designed Media Slurry Professional dryer makes it possible to dry from slurry to fine powder in one step – i.e. without additional desagglomeration. This is due to the following process: The slurry is fed by a pump into the media beads which are in fluidised state by means of the incoming hot air. The slurry is dispersed and forms a film on the media surface. Because of the very large surface area of the media, the volatile slurry component dries in a short time. The left-over dried solids are peeled from the media surface because of the continuous collisions the media particles undergo. The peeled-off solids are transported to the dust industrial separator by entrainment into the exhaust air.
Special features of the NMSD:
• its compactness
• the good thermal efficiency
• easy maintenance
• the nearly same size of the powder particles and the solid particles in the slurry
Materials this drying method is most suited for are: inorganic materials like calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, glass powder, magnesium hydroxide, silica and zinc sulphide. But also materials like animal blood, emulsion resins, dyes, pigments and medicines can be dried very effectively in this way.
The capacity of the dryer depends on the fluid bed area, the temperature and the material. The evaporated water quantity of actual plants ranges from 2 kg/h (laboratory type) up to 1.4 t/h.

The Paddle Industrial dryer, developed and supplied by NARA, is an indirect dryer. It offers a wide range of possibilities for material treatment. The NPD is applied to dry, heat or cool organic or inorganic pellets, granules and powders. Professional filter cakes, thick pastes and even thick slurries having a sticky phase to pass during processing are handled in the machine. The raw material temperature changes when it gets into direct contact with the revolving, wedge-shaped rotating paddles and the jacket. All powder contacted surfaces are heated or cooled. Actually there are plants running with heating areas from 1,5 up to 280 m² and effective volumes between 0,0089 and 34 m³.
The NARA Paddle Dryer is well known for its compact construction and the consequently small need of installation space. This results from the high heat transfer coefficient and heat efficiency. These features combined with the self-cleaning effect of the paddles assure a homogeneous product, cooling or heating process for continuous and/or batch unit operations.

The ES Junior series of continuous vacuum driers are the ISVE mini-driers traditionally used by small craftsmen.
They enclose all the technology and experience developed over twenty years of research into the application of the vacuum process in the treatment of wood.
The machine, operating at low temperatures, allows the timber to lose its water content without subjecting it to thermal changes which can cause cracking and warping.
The evaporated water which remains in suspension in the professional container keeps the drying material surface continuously humidified, avoiding in this way the formation of small cracks which, in other drying systems is quite frequent.
The humidity level which is necessary between environment and material is constantly maintained by a condenser which precipitates the steam in suspension. |
|
Whether the product is a wet powder or a slurry, specially designed feeders transfer the product into the dispersion section of the professional dryer. A high speed rotor disperses the product in the drying zone. An induced hot gas stream as high as 600 °C provides the energy for instantaneous evaporation of the moisture within the feed material. Evaporation capacity of the largest unit is over 6000 kg/hr. Dried particles enter the classifying zone at the top of the dryer and fine de-agglomerated particles leave the dryer outlet to be collected down stream. Coarse particles are rejected by the classifier and are returned to the dispersion zone for further processing.

Temperature control of the exhaust air from the drier permits careful, rapid treatment of products in the form of dust, powder, industrial crystals, grains, fibres or even pastes, which can be carried in the air.
ALLGAIER dispersion driers are also suitable for the total evaporation or drying of solutions, suspensions and pastes. In such cases, the liquid is sprayed directly into the drying space and the result is a powder with a very uniform grain size. |
|
ALLGAIER drum driers are used particularly in the minerals industry, for drying pourable and abrasive wet materials.
Their main features are high throughput rates and the ability to process solid materials with widely differing granulometric properties.
The drum driers are available in single-shell, double-shell and triple-shell versions. The design ensures high performance in a small space. Special versions also permit the use of combined processes. |

ALLGAIER fluidised-bed driers can be used advantageously for the treatment of many mineral substances, such as sand, limestone and ceramics, and also for pastes, sludges, professional filter cakes and mineral fertilizers.
The high rate of heat transfer and material transport in the fluidised bed means that small driers can be used, permitting economical solutions. The driers are extremely robust and have no moving parts inside the process space. This results in minimal costs for maintenance and spare parts. |

The Allgaier laboratory fluidised-bed system is designed to meet our customer's special laboratory and small production requirements. Completely equipped and assembled ready for use, this system permits the ideal conditions of a fluidised bed with respect to the exchange of heat and materials to be utilised on a laboratory scale.
The whole process chamber, in the form of a product professional container, can be tilted and is easily removed for cleaning. Various, easily exchanged gas distribution plates permit variation and optimisation of the specific process conditions. |
|
Suspensions, solutions, difficult pastes or solid professional filter cakes can be homogenised, dried and converted into powders with suspension and paste industrial dryers.
The feed injected through manufacturer of nozzles dries on the inert particles of the fluidised bed. In the process, the solid material in the liquid is converted reliably into a very fine powder which is carried out of the dryer by the flow of drying air. It is then separated from the air in high-performance filter systems. |

Vrieco-Nauta vacuum driers were developed from the already successful conical screw mixer line. The superior mixing quality of the Vrieco-Nauta industrial mixers is utilized to efficiently present fresh product to the heated surface area. Heat is transferred into the product through a jacketed vessel wall causing solvents or moisture residues to evaporate. The entire vessel is run under vacuum to further aid in moisture removal by lowering the saturated vapor pressure.

| With this vibration batch professional dryer with integrated agitator, Allgaier has developed a very efficient technology which is particularly suitable for drying small to medium batches of wet solid. The dryer ist designed so that it can handle widely varying amounts of solid materials. |
|
Cooling is obtained by two physical actions:
Convective cooling = heat exchange between product and air.
Evaporative cooling = removal of water from the product.
Cooling/drying is achieved on the cross and counter-current principle,
depending on the number of belts.
Cold/hot air flows from below through the product bed transversely to the
running direction of the conveyor belts suppliers. While passing, the air becomes
hot and creates a gentle drying/ cooling without causing the pellets
to crack.
Due to the modular design the professional belt units can be arranged so as
to maximize the required process technology. |
