Effective removal of dust based on long experience.
Removal of dust from production processes is necessary in order to improve the working conditions for the people and machines. MAC Pulse Jet filters can be used in a wide variety of air filtration applications. Depending on the configuration, they can be used as the filter in a dust collection system or as the product receiver in a pneumatic conveying system. Filters can also be equipped with a HEPA high efficiency filter on the clean air exhaust where the air is being reintroduced into the work environment. For lower energy consumption, medium pressure cleaning options are also available.
The MAC2Flo has large square footage of media per cartridge allowing for increased air flow with no increase in pressure drop. Dust-laden air enters the top of the filter, which provides a true downward airflow resulting in increased cleaning efficiency.
The MAC Medium-Pressure Controlled-Cleaning Dust Filter (MCF) is the most efficient and versatile bag filter made. Capacities range to over 250,000 CFM with over a dozen filter media options available. MCF Dust Filter combines superior consistent cleaning performance with major energy savings. DM Series – Shaker Bag Dust and Dust/Fume/Smoke Systems
AER Borne Environmental Systems DM Series modular dust Collection systems are designed to provide efficient, cost effective control of dust, fume, smoke and gas/vapor contaminants generated from a variety of manufacturing and process applications. Standard units are designed for floor or machine mounting with other options available (consult factory). Optional hopper kits are available for additional dust storage capacity with standard 5 or 55 gallon drums. Units are also available in portable models and in a small downdraft table option. A full line of accessories and options are available to simplify unit installation.
As with our other collection systems, the DM Series modular design provides the ultimate in unit filtration flexibility or adaptability enabling them to handle a variety of airborne contaminants. Modular design allows for simple integration of additional filter modules allowing the collectors filter stages to be easily customized to meet the exact filtration requirements of the application. Should contaminants change due to process changes, filter modules can be easily added and/or existing ones altered to adapt to the changing conditions.

Shaker Collectors
If your application permits intermittent operation, consider a Sly Shaker collector, which is simple to operate and maintain. Filtering velocities are low, which provides uniform dust distribution and long bag life. Accumulated dust is intermittently shaken off filters while air flow is temporarily interrupted. Capacities to 4000 CFM.
The Pactecon Model S is an economical baghouse design engineered specifically for dust collection applications where it is practical to shutdown the process periodically for filter cleaning. A shaker device effectively breaks the dust cake and cleans the bags. Dust collection filters are shipped with a hand operated shaking device or optional motorized shaker. Solid state timers for control of the shake cycle are available as options. Using either method, it is recommended that the entire filter bank be shaken for 1 or 2 minutes at 4 to 8 hour intervals.

AGET silo vents are installed directly on the silo or bin, where collected dust trapped in the filters falls back into the bin when the tubes are shaken. Dust-laden air created by loading of the silo is filtered and exits from a weather protected bird-proof outlet. Motorized filter shakers less controls are standard. Exhausters can be included (see below) to relieve system back pressure and create a negative pressure in the bin. See "Pull-Through" filters for specs. The L-CUT series has been specially developed for the collection of dust and fumes caused by thermal processes such as joining, separating, or surface treatment by laser, plasma or gases, to separate the finest of metal oxide particles. These units are compact and have a very low profile. Therefore, they can be installed in tight spaces. The spark pre-separator KSE is already integrated in the housing.

The W&S Series require that users enter through a side access door in order to change the filter mediums inside the dust collector. It is Airex’s first generation of baghouse collectors.
The dry fabric filter is by far the most efficient and the most reliable compared to numerous other air pollution control devices. Unlike other filtering methods, variations in dust loading or air volume will not change the outlet conditions of a well-designed dry fabric collector. The pulse jet system outperforms conventional dry fabric filter units since it allows the use of highly efficient felt filter fabrics.
Using top quality needle felt media of appropriate weight and construction enables maximum filtering efficiency to be attained. A full range of natural and synthetic felts is available to meet your specific requirements: Fibreglass, Polyester, Nylon, Nomex, etc. All bags are accessed from the side entry of the collector for servicing.

This filter unit has been designed for special dust filtration in the lacquering, composite material and fibreglass-reinforced plastic machining industries. The components used in this unit ensure high filtering capacity to comply with the strictest air filtration on the workplace standards.

Heavy-Duty Dust Collection
The continuous duty bag dust collector for those applications where cartridges will not work. The Bagtron comes in a full range of sizes, from 67 sq. ft. to 1750 sq. ft. of filter, thus giving CFM's of air moved from as low as 500 CFM and as high as 25,000 CFM. In addition custom / larger sizes are available.
Self Cleaning While Running
Online cleaning is accomplished by a solid state control board which sequentially energenizes solenoids, allowing diaphragm valves to dump compressed air from the storage header into the blow-down pipe. The blow-down pipes have orifices over the inlets of each bag. The primary air is then joined by secondary air in the clean chamber both to flex the bag, cracking the dust cake, and also to blow off the loosened dust. The large agglomerated dust particles will then fall to the hopper for discarge from the collector. The compressed air jet is processed through a Venturi before passing to the fabric of the bag.

The filter type FBI is a filtering unit with a counter current cleaning system employed to separate pulverized solid products, which are suspended in the air or in other gaseous products. The filter is equipped with a tank to accumulate pressurized air and the sleeves' cleaning system, both contained inside the filter body. The cleaning system is controlled and managed by a cyclic electronic timer with a ?P incorporated. The filter is supplied with the work and pause sequences programmed and may be reprogrammed according to the client's requirement. It is also equipped with a three digit display to visualize the inlet differential pressure. The efficiency of the filter type FBI is within the values prescribed by the current anti-pollution italian law (d.P.R. 203/88). Its construction is also in conformity with european directive and italian law (d. Lgs. 277/91) On noise reduction in the working environment. The filter shape is cylindrical with the sleeves' extraction from the top. Its engineering is a result of the research and experience in the dry filtering with the use of sleeves and optimization of space in the plants. The air-product mixture is suctioned in the filter. The heavier product particles drop to the bottom by gravitational force whilst the lighter rise to the top and are filtered by the filtering sleeves wich are supported by steel frames. All filters may be executed in carbon steel, stainless steel Aisi 304 or Aisi 316, and aluminium.

Filter elements
The SINBRAN filter elements, a combination of sintered polyethylene and laminated GORE-TEX® membrane, combine the advantage of membrane filtration (low pressure loss with high filtration efficiency) with a long-life rigid frame construction. These elements are reusable, have BIA test certification according to DIN EN 6035-2-69 Appendix AA (08/99) and meet the requirements of dust class "M", formerly known as categories U, S, G and C. Alternative filter elements such as cartridge filters and Y-filters are also available.
