IBC Mixers
Mixing in Intermediary Bulk Containers (IBCs) can be a challenging task. With the restricted opening and problematic vessel geometry it is difficult to find a mixer which can operate efficiently in these containers. Conventional agitators can provide adequate in-tank movement at low viscosities, but they are generally less effective and can be difficult to clean.
The Silverson Ultramix is designed to provide solutions to challenges such as this. The small diameter dynamic mixing head provides vigorous in-tank mixing, even at higher viscosities, eliminating dead areas in square vessels. This also reduces power requirements and simplifies cleaning – the Ultramix is designed for CIP (Cleaning-in-Place) and complies with 3A, USDA and cGMP requirements.
To further enhance the capabilities of the Ultramix in this application Silverson has designed a mixing station for use with IBCs. The unit incorporates a number of safety features and is available as either a mobile model which can be moved between vessels, or a floor/wall mounted station for operation in a designated area. Various levels of automation are available from safety interlocked manual operation to fully automated systems.

A container mixing unit is designed for a particular size of container and cannot mix any size of container. The closing cone of the container must be secured with a cover (screwed into the cone) prior to mixing. The operation of container mixing may be fully automated, included the positioning of the container in the mixing unit, and its removal.
Working Principle:
The optimal mixing conditions are:
- duration : approx. 10 min
- mixing batch : maximum 1000 kg of powder
- filling % : 60 % of the container volume
- Rotation : 8 – 10 RPM
- Container volume: 500 to 1500 lt

EDUCTOR PRINCIPLES:
BEX eductors use a unique venturi design which enables smaller pumps to circulate large volumes of tank solution. The eductor will circulate four to five gallons of solution for each gallon pumped.
BEX eductors are used for mixing chemicals, suspending solids, adjusting pH, "sweeping" debris or sludge toward a filter intake and many other useful applications.

Eductors %u2014 These jet mixing eductors are placed in a vessel and fed by a recirculation line. The recirculated liquid sucks in surrounding liquid from the vessel, mixes with it, and is ejected. The ejected liquid promotes further mixing by forming a swirling flow inside the vessel

JOGINDRA Container Mixer is specially designed for cold mixing process for all polymer powders or granules with colorants and or additives for concentrated master batches. The mixer is in two parts i.e. Mixer and Storage Hopper. Initially the mixing head is facing to ground and is in a position for lifting and clamping to Container and finally rotate to 180º for mixing. The cleaning time is reduced to a minimum. The mixing bowl is made of stainless steel with lockable system and gasket to prevent leakage during operation. The mixer ensures gentle product treatment and has shorter mixing times. PLC can be supplied on request.

Coke unloading

Fives Solios equips the anodes plant with a station for unloading the coke destined to trucks equipped with automatic unloading "udders". It integrates the collection of dust and storage in daily coke silos.

The tipping horizontal pressure tank O.ME.P.S. type CM 25 is manufactured of Peraluman 45 R light alloy to transport powdery foodstuff (flour) for a total capacity of 25 m3. It is tested at 2 bar pressure according to the standard PED 97/23/CE.
The vertical discharge system is equipped with:
n° 03 load manholes with 3 wing nuts’ closing;
atoxic and polyvalent unloading system;
n° 1 aluminium bottom for the product unloading, complete of butterfly valve, Ø 150 mm;
atoxic rubber pipeline;
accident protection (n° 1 anti-slip ladder, n° 1 gangway with a pneumatic safety handrail) according to the standard C.M. 294/93;

The standard vat of retention "Protec tainer" is a simple solution and ideal for your liquids requiring a retention in the event of accidental escapes (Pollution) and that in order to preserve our environment. Its lid protects it from the bad weather, it can be thus stored in outside. Its lock 2 points prevents the access to the barrels once closed.

Container Hook VCH 10t
Suitable for ISO container edges. A permanent connection using a VVS1/2 or a loose component for hook mounting.
Attention:
RUD-VCH hooks are not suitable for vertical lifting. Given a minimum inclination angle of 30° during the lifting process, the hook cannot automatically open.
Containers 1D, 1E and 1F can be lifted from the top edges using a 4 -leg assembly and a max. inclination angle of 30°

Container Hook VCH 20 with Safety Locking Device
Suitable for ISO container edges. With a patented safety locking mechanism. A clevis connection for the 22 mm VIP chain. Using a VRG - 16 connector, the chain diameter can be reduced and thus a 16mm VIP - chain can be used .
Attention: RUD-VCH 22-Hooks are not suitable for vertical lifting. Given a minimum inclination angle of 30° during the lifting process, the hook cannot automatically open.
Connecting bolt and tensioning sleeve are pre-assembled.

In the bush bearing bore, the hub contains a bush made of polyamide 6 with molybdenum disulphide to make it self-lubricating.

Swivel top plate bracket NL with central lock
Swivel top plate bracket type NL. The plate, the ball rice ring and the fork are made of pressed steel zinc plated finish; swivel actions: double ball greased race with dust protection seal made of polyethilene. The king pin is integral with top plate and duly rivetted. The hexagonal brake system locks at the same time the rotation of two wheels.

The « CONTAINER TRANSFER SYSTEM » (CTS) developped by JetSolutions SA allows a proof connection any kind of vessel with a container for discharging powder or granulate by gravitation.
The vessel to be emptied must have its own closing device (fpr example SAK, DOSIMAT valve, air lock, etc…). JetSolutions SA offers different technologies for:
Dust free transfer of powder or granulate into a container
Avoiding any contact with the surroundings for the powder
Connecting the container to a vessel on scale
Working Principle:
JetSolutions SA offers 3 solutions:
1) The CTS is fixed and the container is lifted
- The top cover of the IBC must be replaced by a « male » connector cover
- The container must be lifted until contact with the CTS and kept in this position
- Le male connector cover is sucked by a vacuum pump in position open
- The powder may flow trough the CTS from the vessel down into the IBC
- The Connector cover of the IBC closes by rupture of the vacuum
- The IBC is removed and closed with a standard cover
2) The CTS is adjusted and the container is fixed
- The top cover of the IBC must be replaced by a « male » connector cover
- The IBC is positionned below the CTS
- The CTS comes down to the connector cover of the IBC
- Le male connector cover is sucked by a vacuum pump in position open
- The powder may flow trough the CTS from the vessel down into the IBC
- The Connector cover of the IBC closes by rupture of the vacuum
- The CTS is lifted, the IBC is removed and closed with a standard cover
