Rotary Systems' three passage rotary union with integrated 6 circuit slip ring. The union is constructed from plated carbon steel. The union utilizes a hardened and ground shaft, Teflon seals and radial ball bearings.

SLIP RING SYSTEM (ROTARY BOXES)
The rotating electrical slip ring is an electromechanical device that allows the transmission of electrical signals side to side in rotary conditions.
It is composed of a complete slip ring with brushes and armbrushes and its own cover that guarantees IP55 or IP65 (on the base of customers requirements). If required it is possible to combine with a fluidic swivel that could guaranty the passage of air, liquids or gas.

AC4598 Slip Ring with Through-Bore
A slip ring can be used in any electromechanical system that requires unrestrained, continuous rotation while transferring power and / or data from a stationery unit to a rotating structure. The AC4598 provides space for routing hydraulics, pneumatics or for a concentric shaft mount. This slip ring uses a unique fiber brush technology which offers advantages over conventional slip ring contacts. Speeds up to 250 RPM continuous.

A fully developed and versatile standard program of slip ring bodies for power, data, fluids and gases, which covers your requirements optimal.
Slip ring bodies are used as power transfer systems for all types of rotating machines, e.g. revolving cranes, rotating purifiers in sewage or water treatment facilities, merry-go-rounds, manipulators, wrapping machines, radar and antenna dishes, theatre stages as well as on all cable reels.
Our standard program facilitate to assemble slip ring bodies for power and data transmission with any number of poles. Current ratings up to 1200 A and voltages‘ up to 24 kV are possible. The range in size for the slip ring bodies starts with 30 mm up to 360 mm diameter and lined up to 100-poles.
Additional rotating couplings are available for fluid media like water, etc. or gases (pressurised air, inert gases, …).

MERCURY SLIP RINGS

It’s a slip ring that thanks to the conductivity of the mercury transfer the signals from a rotary to a stationary side.
The quality is superior from the conventional slip rings for the following reason:

MERCROTARY
It is a unipolar rotary mercury ring with hole inside. The typical applications are in the following field: welding, robotic, galvanic.
Suited for high Amps and low RPM. It is manufactured by Celco Profil. S.r.l. and it supplements the Mercotac products range.
The main charatteristic are:
Current capacity: 250Amps. 500Amps. 1000Amps. and on request over 1000Amps. awailable.
Standard cooling system: air. Max speed 300 Rpm.
Special models with water cooling for higth speed, over 300rpm., are awailable.
All the models are builted with hole inside shaft, to pemit the passage of auxillary conductors for signals. |

Rotary Systems is capable of integrating a slip ring into our line of stock rotary unions as shown in the picture. This is designed into our unions to allow for continuous 360 degree rotation of electrical power and/or data signals. Multiple circuits and power capacities are available.
Two of our rotary unions with slip rings integrated into the design are shown in the picture. The smaller union has two passages with 1/8” NPT connections. It is designed with a six circuit integrated slip ring. The larger union is a four passage unit with 1/2” NPT connections. This union is designed with a three circuit “pancake style” slip ring.

MULTIRING LOW-COST
The multiring low-cost slip ring is suitable for transmition of electric signal in positioning systems (video camera rotating or any other rotative movement).
The slip ring is made of two ABS and glas in stator part and out caming cables in the rotating axe.

MONOBLOCK SLIP RING AND COMPONIBLE TYPES.
The rotating electrical slip ring is an electromechanical device that allows the transmission of electrical signals and the power, from stationary to rotating parts.
It is composed of bronze b14 slip rings and compound of fiberglass resin. The monoblock collector may be builted with different number of rings and diameters . In combination with brushes and armbrushes,

Functionality
Electrical slip rings are used everywhere where electrical currents are transmitted from a stationary machine part to a rotating shaft. The transfer of energy between the rotor and stator occurs by way of a slide contact, which is pressed against the rotating slip ring by a precision spring with constant pressure.
