Plastics attract dust due to static electricity. The dust particles stick firmly to the surface, which makes it difficult to remove them. Due to their configuration, numerous plastic products have to be neutralised from a distance. For this purpose, SIMCO has developed ionising air blowers. The emitter points of the anti-static bar ionize the air which is blown towards the electrostatically charged object. The part is then neutralised by the ionized flow.

The Model 935 Ionising Blower provides effective long range ionisation over a large area. Its versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. The Model 935 comprises an ionisation head and an integrated fan system. A high volume flow of ionised air is generated by blowing air through the ionisation head at the mouth of the unit. Ionisation is provided by powerful 915 bars, generating an ionised field to a depth of up to 2000mm. High technology used in design can produce more efficient results for static electric problems even in high-speed applications. It provides high performance and efficient ionization with fast discharging time. Blower seperates air molecules to the positive and negative ions by the electric field it generates and transports them.
Any static charged product passed from the efficient distance of the Air Blower will draw the opposite charged ions and neutralize the product. This will prevent the sticking of products to other products or parts of machines.At the same time electrical shocks, explosions, fire danger and dust attraction of which is caused by static electric will be prevented.
Thanks to Air Blower which doesn't need any calibrations and can be cleaned and cared easily. Machines will perform hygienic, safe and high quality production with high performance without problems. There is one fan in Air Blower for increasing ionization distance and supplying enough air flow. System can be mounted to places which are hard to reach by the connection apparatus that is provided on the system. Blower filters should be cleaned occasionally.

It is built in a robust painted steel cabinet enclosing the high voltage power supply, tangential fan, and a blowing nozzle in which three shockless ionizating bars. The pivoting mounting bracket makes it easy to install and adjust. The ionization blower ECOBLOWER 350-C is a compact, self-contained unit ready for service. The Meech Model 955 is a hand held ionising blow gun for removing static charges and dust in a range of industrial applications. The portable Model 955 has been designed to provide efficiency in both cost and performance. An electrical centrifugal fan provides high velocity air flow, avoiding the need for a costly compressed air supply. Ionisation is provided by titanium emitters located in the nozzle of the gun, powered by a high voltage DC source. The 955 requires just a standard single phase 240V supply, thereby making the unit fully portable.

RD F range

The blower parts are made of aluminium cast, the impellers are made of welded sheet steel. The solid construction of the practically maintenance
free medium pressure blowers is the basis for a long lasting service life and low operation cost. Inspection and cleaning may only be carried out at these blowers by unscrewing the housing cover plate. All drive motors are made to IP 54 enclosure, class F thermal insulation and comply with EN 60034-1 (VDE 530 Part 1). The motor power is oversized in order to have sufficient reserve for the conveying.
