Use:
Can be used as a single clamping point or combined with round installation Zeropoint Quickclamping cylinders in base plates, machine tables, clamping profiles, columns and towers, swivel bridges, machine pallets and clamping pallets. A square Zeropoint Quickclamping cylinder prevents the pallet from twisting. The indexing function enables positioning every 90°. Specially suitable for use in turning.
Note:
The installation Zeropoint Quickclamping cylinders have high holding and pull-in forces with very small installation dimensions. Zeropoint Quickclamping cylinder with release and contact controls for automatised solutions
3 possibilities of monitoring:
- Pneumatic monitoring:
Function of blowing out by compressed air for the cleanliness of support surfaces. After the installation of the pallet of workpieces, it occurs in the pressure line a dynamic pressure, of which this one could be detected by the mean of a pressure sensor.
- Electric monitoring:
Direct position monitoring of the clamping piston in the Zeropoint Quickclamping cylinder by the mean of an inductive sensor. Electric signal when the Zeropoint Quickclamping cylinder is clamped. Small height necessary for the assembling like for the Zeropoint Quickclamping cylinders K5 (19,8 mm) and K40 (42 mm).
- Hydraulic monitoring:
Monitoring of the clamping piston by a hydraulic closure valve. Dynamic pressure when the Zeropoint Quickclamping cylinder is opened, which can be detected by mean of a pressure sensor. Free hydr. flow when the Zeropoint Quickclamping cylinder is closed. Despite a hydraulic sensor, only small height for assembling is necessary.

The KBHS series is a hydraulically operated heavy load brake featuring spring-loaded energy storage.
This function is based on the toggle lever principle. Pre-tensioned stress bolts provide holding force in case of pressure drop. Here the large-surface contact sections, which are equipped with a special brake lining, are pressed directly onto the free surfaces of the section rail.
At a hydraulic opening pressure of 150bar a holding power of up to 40,0000N is achieved.
The KBHS series features a compact design and is suitable from sizes 35 to 125.
The KBHS series is designed for braking and clamping on linear guides. Because of the material combination of the linear guide/contact section, the linear guide won't be damaged by the contact section
