| A composite of metal sheeting impregnated with an elastomer to yield a highly conductive, yet resilient Gasketing material for EMI/RFI shielding as well as an environmental seal. A selection of Woven aluminium wire, expanded aluminium or monel sheet impregnated with silicone, fluorosilicone or neoprene rubbers are available. Expanded Monel wire is also available without the elastomer filler for use in applications where an environmental seal is not necessary. The material can be supplied as continous sheet or as die cut gaskets to customers requirements. |

Elastomer core gaskets are made of a resilient rubber core,
knitted over with layers of wire mesh (the standard is two
layers). The knitted wire element provides EMI shielding
effectiveness, while the elastomer core enables the gasket
section to recover more readily, following repeated
compression. Elastomer core gaskets are used where the
application requires a conformable EMI seal and even where a
dust protection is needed. |

The compact PFLITSCH EMC cable connection type UNI HF with the Iris spring and taper rings are designed for the EMC bonding of screens. The design principle reduces installation time significantly and achieves high damping effects. When the pressure screw is tightened, the Iris spring is guided by two tapers until it encircles the cable screen and contacts it securely through 360°.

A current-carrying twisted pair is superior to parallel conductors, but is of limited effectiveness in reducing electromagnetic radiation. Correspondingly, the twisted pair is limited in avoiding unwanted pickup of external H-fields (D.C. to 100 KHz).
INTER-8 WEAVE cable provides substantial improvement over the performance of a conventional twisted pair. INTER-8 WEAVE cable involves four separate conductors braided into interlocking loops and is a patented design of Magnetic Shield Corporation. In application, adjacent conductors 90º apart are connected together, effectively providing a two conductor circuit.
Because the INTER-8 WEAVE design incorporates parallel conductors, the cable provides double the current carrying capacity of a two wire cable of the same AWG size. In contrast to conventional twisted pair, INTER-8 WEAVE does not kink or untwist when left free. |

| The EMCFIX system from PMA AG covers fittings for optimum connecting solutions for screened cables or screening braids. This self-locking series corresponds in all points to the conventional series, the screw threads being locked by polygonal deformation of one or more turns of the thread.
This deformation results in a powerful locking on the sides of the screw thread and counteracts the unscrewing effects of dynamic stresses, vibrations and thermal loads. The locking torques obtained are comparable with the values indicated in standard ISO 2320.
