Master Bond offers a broad line of electrically conductive adhesives, sealants and coatings which are widely used in the electronic and electrical industries. They are formulated with metal powders and flakes such as silver, nickel, copper and silver-coated nickel, with silver formulations exhibiting the highest levels of electrical conductivity. Graphite filled formulations have also been developed for use where metal additives are not desirable. Master Bond offers a number of room temperature curing and low elevated temperature curing, electrically conductive systems for applications where heat sensitive components must be bonded to circuit boards and other assemblies or for repair of circuitry. Other applications range from the construction of disc drives to die attach and flip-chip processes.
Also available are electrically conductive coatings which are widely employed for EMI/RFI shielding of plastic molded parts to prevent undesirable electrical interference. There is also an increasing demand for electrically conductive sealants. Master Bond offers both two and one part conductive sealants. The two part systems are primarily epoxies. The one part types are heat cured epoxies and room temperature curing acrylics and elastomers.

Master Bond’s line of electrically conductive adhesives is the number one choice for the design of tomorrow’s advanced electrical circuitry. Nobody offers more choices or solutions. The Master Bond product line includes silver, nickel, copper and graphite filled compounds. We even offer silver coated nickel systems for low resistance where cost effectiveness is crucial. Specific compounds are designed to cure at ambient temperatures or upon brief exposure to elevated temperatures. The cured products offer high physical strength, superior substrate adhesion and uniform electrical conductivity even upon exposure to hostile environmental conditions. Long term durability is excellent.
Our electrically conductive products consist of epoxies and elastomeric systems. They are conveniently packaged for ease of use. They are available in syringes, jars, bubble packs, cartridges, etc. Two component systems can be purchased in premixed, frozen syringes. Freshly prepared to maximize shelf life, Master Bond electrically conductive compounds can be bought in quantities from grams to gallons.
The superior performance profile of our electrically conductive compounds is widely recognized throughout the electronics industry. Special grades are vibration and shock resistant, cryogenically serviceable, “snap curing”, offer exceptional peel and shear strength and are screen printable. Additionally, NASA low outgassing approved adhesives and a USP Class VI approved system for medical applications is also available.

Each of the products in this series consists of a main agent and a curing agent. When these agents are mixed and stirred, a chemical reaction and curing occur. The workability and other properties of a product after curing depend on the combination of agents. The series offers a wide variety of grades, from which you can select those whose properties, such as curing speed, properties after curing, and appearance, are best suited to your needs.

Master Bond photoinitiated adhesives are part of a fast growing family of one component UV curable adhesive systems for high performance coatings, adhesives, sealants, potting and encapsulation. These UV and EB radiation curing adhesives include polyurethanes, epoxies, polyesters and acrylics. UV adhesive grades vary in thicknesses, hardness, chemical resistance, strength, clarity, etc. When exposed to a suitable UV light source, UV curable compounds usually cure in a matter of seconds. The Master Bond UV cure products are not oxygen inhibited and cure at ambient temperatures. Environmentally friendly, they are 100% reactive liquids which do not contain any solvents or other volatiles. Upon cure they exhibit minimal shrinkage. Additionally, they are strong, durable, and offer superior temperature and chemical resistance. If required, special formulations can be developed to best meet specific product application and performance needs. One new "dual cure" adhesive compound can be cured by exposure to either UV light or heat.
Master Bond UV curable coatings and adhesives are one component systems and require no mixing. They have a long shelf life when stored at ambient temperatures in the absence of UV light. They have excellent bond strength to metals, ceramics, many plastics and most rubbers. UV curing sealants adhesives and encapsulants are particularly suitable for automated continuous manufacturing processes because of their fast cure speeds.
