Epilox® M 923 and Epilox® - hardeners M 924 und M 925 are laminating systems which are preferably used for manufacturing of rotor blades for wind power stations. The main advantage of these systems, compared to our standard laminating system Epilox® M 730 + Epilox® - hardener M 734, is the compatibility of the fast curing hardener Epilox® - Härters M 924 with the slow curing hardener Epilox® - Härter M 925 allowing to adjust the reactivity of the batches in dependence on the ambient temperature. Mixtures of both hardeners may be prepared in any desired ratio without changing the mix ratio of resin and hardener. This system is approved according to no. WP 0320009 HH of Germanischer Lloyd.

|
Our standard laminating system for all-purpose applications is Epilox® M 730 + Epilox® - hardener M 734. It is used for manufacturing of composites for boats, pipes and containers. Further applications are found in component parts for the building industry and as repair material for composite parts. This system is approved according to no. 6410/01/19490 of Germanischer Lloyd.

Low viscosity manufacturer of epoxy resin system Epilox® M 730 + Epilox® - hardener M 903 is a laminating system with very long potlife. Larger batch sizes in areas with warmer climate are thus processable. The mix is warmed up to 50 °C until gelation has occurred. Post-curing is performed at ca 80 °C.
Curing schedule: Pre-heating of the resin/hardener mix to 50 °C, keeping 50 °C for 30 min, heating to 80 °C, keeping 80 °C for 1.5 - 2 h.
The system is preferably used for sewage renovation because it does not attack polyurethane professional films which cover the pipes.

Master Bond offers a broad line of epoxy casting materials. These systems include two part systems that cure at ambient temperatures or more quickly at elevated temperatures, as well as one part, no mix systems requiring elevated temperature. Master Bond's casting compounds feature any of a number of unique or combined physical, electrical, optical and thermal properties. These include strength, rigidity/flexibility, machinability, greatly enhanced weatherability, chemical resistance, color retention, heat resistance (service temperatures up to 400°F), flame resistance meeting UL94V-0, bio-compatibility (USP Class VI), highly insulative/conductive i.e. very low/high volume resistivity, optical clarity, high indices of refraction, excellent dielectric strength and low dissipation factors.
Some of the more specialized casting compounds have superior dimensional stability with linear shrinkage after cure less than 0.0002 inches/in, are thermally conductive, cryogenically serviceable possess very low viscosity which assures complete fill-in around complicated contours in even very complex configurations etc. Master Bond's technical staff will be glad to recommend the product best suited to your needs. |

|
Ashland Inc. DERAKANE* 510N epoxy vinyl ester resin is a brominated novolac epoxy-based vinyl ester, designed to combine outstanding corrosion and high temperature resistance with excellent fire retardance.
It is used extensively in FRP ductwork, stack liner applications, handling mixtures of air and hot gases or potentially flammable and corrosive liquids.
* Trademark of Ashland Inc. |
|
Ashland Inc. DERAKANE* 8084 epoxy vinyl ester resin is an elastomer modified resin designed to offer increased professional adhesive strength, superior resistance to abrasion and severe mechanical stress, while giving greater toughness and elongation.
This resin is often used for example as a primer to prepare a substrate surface (steel or concrete) for application of a corrosion resistant lining. The superior elongation and toughness provide FRP equipment with better impact resistance and less cracking due to cyclic temperature, pressure fluctuations and mechanical shocks.
Ashland Inc. DERAKANE* 8090 epoxy vinyl ester resin is a high performance epoxy vinyl ester resin, with greatly improved mechanical properties. It is designed to offer increased flexibility and tensile properties along with exceptional impact resistance.
Both resins have exhibited chemical resistance across a broad range of acids, bases and organic chemicals for use in many chemical processing industry applications.
* Trademark of Ashland Inc. |
|
Ashland Inc. DERAKANE*and DERAKANE MOMENTUM 470 series are novolac-based epoxy vinyl ester resins designed to provide exceptional mechanical properties at higher temperatures. These resins offer a high resistance to solvents and chemicals, good retention of strength and toughness at elevated temperatures, and excellent resistance to acidic oxidizing environments.

To be compatible with Pb-free IC packages need to withstand a higher reflow temperature up to 260°C. for the smaller packages types. To achieve this, EPOTECNY has developped industrial adhesives that have properties appropriate for these higher reflow temperature, with an excellent thermal stability and a low humidity uptake:
- Silver filled epoxy electro conductive adhesives
- Silver filled electro conductive varnishes
- Thermally conductive adhesives |

| Superfluid supplier of epoxy resin for injection. Epojet is used for monolithic repair of structures which have cracked due to overloading, impact, earthquakes etc; it is also used for bonding and structural strengthening by low pressure injection and for sealing cracks in cement screeds. Epojet is a solvent-free epoxy bonding, consisting of two pre-measured components to be mixed together with an electric stirrer prior to use. After mixing, Epojet becomes a low viscosity liquid ideal for injection. Epojet polymerizes without shrinkage and is watertight after hardening. For monolithic repair of degraded structures, inject Epojet into the cracks with a pump. Horizontal cracks in screeds can be sealed simply by pouring Epojet directly into them. |

Gurit is a world leader in commercial epoxy prepreg technology with the WE prepreg and WT SPRINT® product range that features performance solutions for industrial wind turbine manufacturers.
These products are used in the construction of both root/spars and shell components, which today typically are constructed from epoxy base glass and carbon reinforced matrices. Gurit supplies:
Conventional WE Prepregs, consisting of reinforcement which is fully wet-out by the resin matrix.
WT SPRINT® Systems, which are unique patent-approved, award winning technologies developed by Gurit and offer exceptional finishing and performance properties, brought about as the fibres do not wet-out until the curing process begins. This results in outstanding breathability and achieves manufacturers of autoclave quality laminates from vacuum bag processing. SPRINT® consists of a layer of fibre reinforcement either side of a precast, resin film, that could be complimented with a light tack or surface film on one side |
