Ribbed heating elements/Air duct heaters/Convectors
Ribbed resistance heaters are ideal for the convection-heating of air in stoves, industrial ovens, drying cabinets and facilities, air-conditioning equipment etc. Ribbed heaters are generally used to heat air or non corrosive gas by natural or forced convection.
The heating elements are made of Z6 CNT 18-10 stainless steel (ST. ST. AISI 321) tubes of diameters 8.5, 10, 13 and 16 mm. The sheaths are fitted without clearance with electrogralvanized steel ribs.
Air duct heater are equipped with pin or spiral formed sheathed heating elements mounted on a stainless steel or galvanized iron casing. They are used to heat circulating air.
Convectors perfectly meet industrial requirements. They can be equipped with regulation devices.Waterproof and ATEX certified products are available for power ranging from 250W to 6kW.
|
|
These are particularly suitable for heating and maintaining the temperature of large volumes or heating circulating fluids such as water, heavy fuel oil, thermal fluid, air or gas. They can be fitted on tanks, cisterns, boilers and circulation reheaters and are the best electrical heating system for a range of industries such as food processing, chemicals, textiles, plastics etc.
The stainless steel or incolloy armoured elements are generally hairpin-shaped and are welded to the DIN/ASA standardized flanges according to procedures which have CODAP, TÜV and ASME approval.
The watt density, ranging from 0.1 to 15 W/cm², is determined from the working parameters of the process and the exchange coefficients. For a maximum immersion length of 3300 mm, the power delivered by a flange immersion heater can reach several MW.
The electrical cabling in one or more paces gives access to several power steps. Connection blocks and rods are used to ensure the electrical connection.
Devices can be produced according to ATEX directives.

Immersion heaters
Screw-on immersion heaters are made of copper, stainless steels or incolloy heating elements, brazed or welded on assembly plugs, with metric or British thread sizes. They are used for heating static or circulating water, oils or specific liquids, air or gas, at a maximum operational pressure of 15 bars. Power ranges from 100 W to 35 kW, for 230–380 or 690V or other specified voltages. ATEX certified products are available for explosive atmospheres
|
|
Caloritech™ immersion heaters are available in a wide range of configurations, including flanged, bottom-mount, over-the-side and screwplug.
The flanged and screwplug immersion heaters are typically used in liquid and gas heating applications, for water, oils, gases and mildly corrosive liquids. They are available in a range of sizes and voltages to suit virtually any application, as well as a range of sheath materials, such as copper, incoloy and stainless steel.
The bottom-mount and over-the-side immersion heaters are available in a range of materials such as copper, incoloy, inconel, stainless steel and titanium to suit almost any liquid heating application, from water to corrosive solutions.

|
The heating cartridges are used for the heating until 750°C of metal parts such as moulds, systems with hot channels, dies, tools of welding and marking in the industry of the plastics and the machines of conditioning.
The heating collars are used for the heating of cylindrical parts. Of robust design, the characteristics (insulator-connector industry) are closely related to the operating conditions
|
|
The elements are specially shaped so as to obtain the best curtain type exchange surface and are fixed on a stainless steel or steel plate. Fitted with an electrical connection box separate from the plate for uses at temperatures over 120 °C, the batteries may be powered by three-phase supplies up to 750 V.
The heating elements are wired with high temperature cables, generally in busbars mounted on insulators at one or more rates.
Designed to be used at temperatures up to 850 °C, the plates may be mounted on steel or stainless casings to allow their installation on the duct network
Devices can be produced according to ATEX directives.

Teflon® immersion heater
The technology of the immersion heater Teflon®, entirely realized in their workshops, is based on a cable heating of weak load and inertia thermics, which allows a soft and precise diffusion of heat. It is then formatted so as to obtain a large surface of exchange in small overall dimensions. This weak load generates one lifespan of the immersion heater but as product heated more important as with a traditional immersion heater of higher load. The range of power S `extends from 0,5 kw to 15 kw.
|
|
Applications:
Dies, Heat Sealing, Hot Melt Adhesive, Plastic Molding, Platens, Shoe Machinery.
U.L. Recognized - E56973 C.S.A. Certified - 016386-0-000
Features :
-Elements are designed for maximum: Watt density, temperature, heat transfer, and heater life.
-The useful life of a cartridge heating element is determined by how quickly the heat generated in the resistance
wire can be dissipated to the outside sheath. With low and moderate watt density elements, such as Hotwatt's
standard line, the conventional method of inserting helical coils in formed ceramics is an entirely satisfactory
method of construction because the wire temperature relative to sheath temperature even though considerably
higher, is still well within safe long-life operating temperatures.
-The Superwatt cartridge heater accelerates the transfer of heat from the resistance wire to the sheath. This is
accomplished by relocating the wire so that it is closer to the sheath; and swaging the outside diameter of the
heater, thereby compressing the magnesium oxide filler so that it becomes an improved conductor of heat from
the wire while maintaining its dielectric properties. (See diagram below). By improving the heat transfer rate, it
is possible to manufacture elements of higher densities because the differential between the wire temperature
and the sheath temperature has been minimized.
-Long, trouble free service.
-Made in U.S.A.

The Hotwatt Square and Rectangular Cartridge Heater is designed to distribute maximum heat within a desired area. Because they are completely enclosed, square units will furnish more usable heat for a given wattage than a comparable strip heater attached to the exterior of a mod, platen, or other equipment.
The units are inserted in a milled slot, permitting greater lengths than would be feasible with a drilled or reamed hole. Close dimensional tolerances are held to permit intimate fit for best heat transfer to surrounding medium.
Heating elements arranged just beneath outside surface for maximum heat transfer, minimum wire temperature, and faster heating.
Maximum surface temperatures up to 1200°F. Designations are etched on the sheath to preserve accurate shape.
Long, trouble free service.
Made in U.S.A.
Construction:

Heating sleeves to heat segments of 200 litre barrels per DIN. both the inner and the outer sheath of the barrel heating sleeve are made of aluminium sheet, which ensures maximum protection of the electrical components against mechanical damage. A hinge with campling closure that divides the heating surface into two semi shells permits convenient assembly, without the heating element needing to be bent. The barrel can be heated complete by using 3 sleeves.
