Simulation is a key component of a complete Business Process Management (BPM) solution. Simulation provides the analysis and guidance in both the business process discovery/design phase and later within a "round trip" control and optimisation loop to ensure Business Process Management (BPM) is properly directed and applied. This is the view of leading analyst firms and business process management software suite providers that have invested in Lanner's L-SIM technology.

The way of often constrained traditional provisioning customers and suppliers to carry out an expensive raw material overstocking: customers to avoid the rupture of production, the suppliers to preserve the reactivity of their deliveries. All this led to a total increase in the costs in particular by the immobilization of the capital, the increase in the costs as a personnel and the administrative load, many being operations still carried out manually. In spite of these overcosts, the supplier remains unable to envisage and plan precisely his deliveries in time on the basis of flow of information weak which is provided to him.
WEB-VV solution VEGA for the teleprocessing of stocks by the supplier (Vendor Managed Inventory - VMI) allows the customer and the supplier to benefit from a narrow interdependence their processes of production. Indeed, the combination of measurements of highly reliable levels of stock to the possibility for the supplier of reaching these data customers in real-time enables him to organize for these customers a continuous provision of raw material without risk of rupture and expensive surstockâge.
WEB-VV as well lends itself to local visualization levels of a park of in-house storage on a corporate network as to the follow-up of the data of stocks in the whole world. For an application locally, the ideal is to be able to interface the sensors of level on an already existing corporate network. To use WEB-VV in inventory control lodged, it is simply enough to connect the sensors of level via transmitters or modems, either with the phone network, or with the Ethernet network.

As a real decision support software, the n.SKEP solution suite enables the company to view, analyse, simulate, and understand all supply chain data. The proactivity of the simulation tools proposed to the Supply Chain Manager gives him a clear vision of the alternatives so he can easily make the right decisions.
n.SKEP covers all supply chain processes at the strategic and tactical levels as well as at the operation level, and enables drawing up multi-level forecasts, planning and optimisation of distribution and production.
Collaborative n.SKEP solutions effectively enable information sharing between users (via Intranet/Internet), warning them should changes be made by anyone and allowing synchronisation of all relevant data.
By using “Single Click Collaborative®” technology, each entry or "click" by a user enables immediate recalculation of all parameters impacted at all Supply Chain levels; other collaborative users are immediately notified of the induced repercussions. By minimising the number of actions (clicks), our technologies are easy to use by the user who can then focus on the specialised added value representing an essential link of the global supply chain.

The single chain overhead conveyor is a quasi universal means of handling which is integrated in all types of industries and transports the most various loads. The chain with Cardan joint , guided by a tubular profile, authorizes greatest freedom in the geometrical design of the circuit (curves in the two plans, …)
|
|
The Overhead monorail chain conveyor forms a closed loop, and the speed of the chain can be adjusted, using a speed transmission.
The suspended tray conveyors, spreaders or carried parts are directly hooked to the conveyor chain.
|
|
|
|
|
|
There is a wide variety of suspended chain conveyors, but they can be easily divided into "closed" and "open" rail types. Both these chain conveyor types are included in the Railtechniek range.
General Concept: A suspended chain conveyor always forms a closed loop. This loop consists of a chain which is driven over or through a rail profile by a caterpillar track or chainwheel drive set. Horizontal bends, as well as vertical drops and rises, can be built into a chain conveyor circuit. The weight of the loads to be carried by the chain and the circuit length are the critical points in determining the choice of chain.
In a number of cases, the operating conditions determine whether an open or closed chain conveyor is used. Usually, a closed-rail type with a short-link universal joint chain is selected, this can hinge in three dimensions. Such a system is flexible and the chain is safely enclosed in a rail tube. Beside the lack of this safety aspect, an open-rail type also has the disadvantage that each bend has to be fitted with a wheel guide. The rise and fall angle is limited and requires a long approach length for a limited difference in level. However, the breaking strength and load capacity is considerably higher than for closed conveyors. An open-rail type with trolleys connected by drop-forged links can be found in foundries, rolling mills, steel sandblasting and enamelling workplaces and in car and farm machinery assembly lines. They are internationally indicated as 3.4.8, 4.5.8 and 6.7.8-inch systems. The numbering gives the strength and dimensions of the chain.

Bucket wheel and bucket chain excavators are important products designed for mining the overburden. The first bucket chain excavator of our own construction called D 800 was manufactured in 1952, with an output of 1 050 m3/h and moved on rails. The most effective bucket chain excavator is marked RK 5000 and it achieves an output of 5 000 m3/h of excavated overburden.
Our production range covers also the biggest digging wheel excavator of the Czech Republic, the K 10000, which has been working with an output of 10 000 m3/h of excavated overburden in Bílina mine since 1978.
Bucket-chain and bucket-wheel excavators are designed according to specific requests of customers, always with respect to the actual mining conditions in which they will operate.

Parallel to Bucket Wheel Excavators Tenova TAKRAF has a long tradition delivering Bucket Chain Excavators (BCE) applied for similar material conditions. Bucket Chain Excavators are continuous cutting machines with the ability of excavating below the bench (travel) level in case of an instable pit floor or a high level of ground water (Even working under water is possible).
Tenova TAKRAF offers Bucket Chain Excavators with capacities between 1000 and 3000 m³/h and cutting depths/heights between 5 and 16/19 m.
Characteristic for a Bucket Chain Excavator are the bucket chain, the superstructure with counterweight boom/platform, the sub-structure with rail or crawler track undercarriage. A transfer boom is necessary only for block operation.
Several modes of operation are possible when using Bucket Chain Excavator. The Bucket Chain Excavator travels on rails rectangular to the direction of the pit advance. The material is transferred to a cross pit Conveyor Bridge or falls on a bench conveyor right beneath the excavator.
Another alternative is a crawler track propelled machine working in block operation together with a shiftable bench conveyor with or without a Mobile Transfer Conveyor.
The largest Bucket Chain Excavator ever built is a Tenova TAKRAF ERs 3750 with a maximum capacity of 14500 m³/h and a cutting depth/height of 31/34 m - that is still in operation.
