ESD3000 is a light weight, hand-held battery operated professional tester. The modular construction enables many different test standards to be performed. A broad range of accessories enable testing to many applications for contact discharge, air discharge and indirect discharge.
The easily interchangeable discharge modules (DM) quickly adapt ESD3000 to the specified circuits of a new application. Each new module is automatically identified and the corresponding input screens displayed. Modules contain all the high voltage circuits making ESD3000 the ONLY ESD system capable of fully conforming to different calibration requirements.
Unique in it’s class, ESD3000 is powered by a rechargable battery pack up to 30kV for approximately 8 hours @1Hz discharge repetition. Regular AA professional batteries can also be used.
Electronic polarity reversal, including alternating poalrity, is provided as standard in all ESD3000 models.
Professional remote control of ESD3000 professional test system is possible using the EMC Partner TEMA software package.

Waldmann ESD-luminaires smooth discharge protects valuable components.
Waldmann ESD-luminaires are designed and manufactured using methods that eliminate an electrostatic build-up and controls discharge. Plastics present a significant danger. They are insulators and cannot normally conduct electricity.
The use of special plastics has made it possible to reach the necessary discharge ability for electrostatic charges. It is not recommended to equip the luminaires with any conductive materials, especially metal. An electrostatic build-up is conducted through metal at high speed, and this dramatically increases the risk of a harmful spark discharge.
The grounding of the luminaire components is equally as important as the use of anti-static materials. Without a functional ground, the use of the best materials is ineffective.
All Waldmann ESD-luminaires have been ap-proved by the internationally respected Swedish institution SP. A copy of the certificate is available upon re-quest from Waldmann.
The housing, the professional magnifier frame and the joints of the Waldmann luminaires are molded from special plastics. All steel and aluminium parts are specially treated to ensure a controlled electrostatic discharge.

| Filtered and ESD protected USB manufacturer of connectors are available in a variety of configurations and protection values. The current standard SCI product is a Type A style of socket connector. These are available in a through hole or surface mount termination design. The connectors have integrated chip capacitor professional filters or ESD suppressors, and are a drop-in replacement for standard unfiltered connectors. The connectors have capacitive filter values ranging from 10pF to 1000pF. ESD protection uses Little industrial fuse components to offer ESD protection without added capacitance. These connectors will meet the latest USB 2.0 specifications. Custom filter values and configurations are also available. |
