Extrusion coating by means of Reifenhuser's LAMICOR process means:
Material webs such as paper, aluminium foil, plastic film, textiles, and nonwovens are coated with thermoplastic raw material and permanently bonded into a composite.
- The manufacturing of the plastic film (substrate) and the subsequent processing takes place in one work cycle.
- This process does not use any pollutant solvents and adhesives.
Areas of application
By combining different materials, product-specific properties that open up additional areas of application are achieved.
Drink cartons and packaging paper for food are classic examples for products manufactured by means of extrusion coating. Depending on the combination of source materials, a wide range of other products that were previously inconceivable have become commonplace: Lorry canvas covers, sails, or party tents made of material composites are good examples for the success of extrusion coating.

This machine uses the special designed screw and barrel, die and extrusion process to produce plastic and wood products. The series of products are: One step thick plastic and wood decoration plate extrusion machine, plastic and wood palletizing machine and different kinds of plastic and wood dies.
This machine can use the one step extrusion method and also it can use the two-step extrusion method after palletizing. The two-step extrusion method can save the power and space, and the two-step extrusion method features the machine can the humidity from the wood powder. So that the feeding section of the extruder can be filled with enough material and the plastification effect will be better. Special and well designed screw enables the raw material to be evenly stay in the extruder. The screws and the barrel are bi-metallic treated, more wearable and anti-corrosion.
The machine can produce PE, PP or PVC and wood profile products. These products mainly applied for making pallets, packing cases, floors, wall decoration materials and other wide applications. The 3 extruders are on parallel lay-out on common frame (or upon request on radial lay-out); 2 of them are 65 mm. and the midlayer is 75 mm. screw diameter. All are with a.c. vector motors, bimetallic barrel, ceramic lined heater bands, low-shear barrier screws.
The coex head is the well reputed Multisplit type (direct seeding and binary repartition), featuring a very minimum melt resident time, a low-working pressure and a quite high self-clearing factor.
The IBC construction is vertical passing through the head, thus granting an absolute temperature homogeneity of the steel mass, to the benefit of the thickness distribution.
The dual lip cooling ring is coupled with an automatic film profile control system (a segmented flow design), that, thru 48 actuators, a circular scanner with capacity type head and a powerful software grants gauge variations below the threshold of 4%.
The oscillating nip is a 360 horizontal diverging type, with air cushion rollers and option for additional nip-roll on the film descent section, before the photocell edge guide.
The 2 station automatic flat-ped winder is the latest development in the Dolci winders family and, for this line, can be assembled in face-to-face or back-to-back lay-out and includes the following outstanding features: GAP winding with taper tension control and reverse winding. The reverse winding
