An ever broadening spectrum of thermoplastics and applications calls for versatile processing solutions. Cincinnati Extrusion has developed the monos series of high-performance single-screw extruders for maximum performance, efficiency and melt homogeneity in the extrusion of smooth or corrugated PE and PP plastic pipes.
This has been accomplished thanks to a new screw concept and the extension of the plasticizing unit to 37D. In addition, the series has been equipped with an innovative drive system.
Newly developed screws and power feed technology (PFT) provide an increase in the extruder%u2019s specific output.
The new plasticizing unit has proven effective in the production of corrugated pipes, where some dies tend to generate high back pressure.

The H 250 flowmeter for liquids and gases is an all-metal flowmeter which operates on the float principle.
Depending on the flowrate, the float will assume a certain vertical position in the tube. The float position is transmitted by a magnetic coupling system to the scale. The flowmeter is designed for installation in a vertical pipe run with flow from bottom to top. The rugged construction of the H 250 variable-area flowmeter makes it particularly suitable for difficult application and environmental conditions. The H 250 flowmeter can be equipped with either the M9 or the M10 indicator.

VARIABLE AREA FLOW METERS, often referred to as ROTAMETERS, measure gas or liquid flow rates by relating linear displacement of an internal float or sharp-edged orifice plate to a corresponding flow rate.
As the flow rate increases, the orifice area that the flow moves through increases which explains the term Variable Area.
