Davis-Standard, LLC manufactures compounding systems for applications in the polymer compounding, polyurethanes, textiles and nonwovens markets. Systems are engineered based on several parameters including solids feeding, compression and melting, mixing, devolatization, decompression, and pelletizing. Single screw systems are available with high torque air- or water-cooled options, side arm feeders, hot melt extruder designs, and feed systems for weight blending or starve feeding. In twin screw technology, Davis-Standard has partnered with Coperion (Werner & Pfleiderer) to offer systems that can process virtually any polymer. These are available in both co-rotating and counter-rotating configurations. Davis-Standard supplies control systems, feedscrews, and associated downstream equipment. Complete in-line systems for production of sheet end products, roofing materials, and reinforced fabrics are also available.

Our sheet systems are globally recognized for reliability, accuracy, high outputs, and processing efficiency. We manufacture equipment for foam, flexible and rigid sheet extrusion, and single and multi-layer coextrusion applications up to nine layers. We manufacture a complete line of laboratory and pilot equipment for cast film, blown film, tubing, sheet, coating, fiber, compounding, elastomer, and fine wire applications. This includes the Killion and Betol product lines. We supply everything from extruders, feedscrews, and control systems to chill rolls, roll stacks, sheet take-offs, winders, and payoffs. Flexible Sheet on a Roll
We supply both PS and PE winding equipment for flexible sheet applications with the capability to build winders up to 2 meters.
Rigid Board
We supply equipment for solid sheet from ½-inch to 4 inches (12 to 100mm) thick, cut to size at any length. We work with several leading companies to integrate technology for cooling, conveying and sizing of board material products.

Single Screw Compounding Systems
Davis-Standard supplies a complete line of single screw compounding extruders with rugged gear reduction systems, single or multi-venting capabilities, sequential addition of ingredients, proven screw designs, and advanced process controls. Single screw systems incorporate extruders ranging in size from 1 1/4-inches (30mm) to 12-inches (305mm) with L/D's from 10:1 to 40:1. The JOFRA range of IPI Industrial Pressure Indicators is ATEX and CSA certified for use in potentially explosive environments in the field or in calibration laboratories. ATEX is the primary intrinsically safe standard in the European Union, while CSA refers to relevant Canadian and USA standards.
Accurate to ± 0.05% FS, the IPI can be used as a calibration reference or in applications where high accuracy pressure measurement is required from safety valve checks to system pressure verification. The AIRCHOC® air cannon was specifically designed to solve problems of clogging (low or high bridging, rat holing) and build-ups problems.
A volume of compressed-air, from 4 to 400 litres, according to the AIRCHOC®air cannon model, is instantly discharged through a large outlet pipe, directly connected to the storage unit or where the blockage has occured. This create a powerful air shock-wave aimed directly into the material, due to the instant release of the compressed air.

Chutes & Transitions
Standard Filter has the in house Engineering and Bulk Material Handling expertise to fabricate Custom Chutes and Transitions for Hopper and Silo Discharge and Filling applications. Woven and Non Woven Fabrics such as Cotton, Polyester, Polypropylene, Vinyl, Nomex, Teflon can be utilized to suit practically any solids flow application. Ends can be made to fit stub ends or flanged to mate.

Filter Bags
Pulse-Jet Bags
Standard Filter manufactures pulse-jet and plenum pulse filter bags. These bags use support cages to allow air flow from the exterior of the bag and exiting through the interior.
Shaker Bags
We provide a wide variety of filter bags for use in shaker type collectors. We manufacture bags from wovens and shakerfelts. Standard Filter's engineering department can recommend the media that will give you the performance you expect from your shaker unit.
Reverse-Air Bags
A wide variety of reverse air bag types can be designed and manufactured. Typical top designs are strap top, loop top, cord top cuff, compression band tops with steel caps or grommet top bags. Bottom designs can be raw edge, cuffed, compression band or beaded cuff.
Welded Seam Bags
Needle holes in the vertical seam of a filter bag can be a conduit for fine particulate bleed through. In order to give you the most efficient filter possible, Standard Filter can manufacture one piece welded filter tubes.

In most cases cartridges can be custom made in various sizes and constructions to fit your specific requirements, along with high temperature capabilities, fire retardant, PTFE membrane, conductive and high efficiency type materials. Standard Filter can also provide various pleat spacings and pleat depths.

Wire Cages
Standard Filter is a supplier of dust collector cages as well as filter bags. We provide a wide range of configurations to best fulfill your needs. Cage constructions, consist of 10, 12 or 20 vertical wires. The horizontal ring spacing on the cage can be 4", 6" or 8".
If plenum height restrictions are a problem, two piece cages are available.
For areas where moisture or acid corrosion are present Standard Filter provides a range of materials.
