Air Conveyors - Ring-Vac™ Pneumatic Conveying System has virtually no moving parts, convey's air at high rates and long distances. Utilizing compressed air for a powerful, efficient venturi action along its length in a compact design for high capacity conveying over large distances.
Air Conveyors - Ring-Vac™ Pneumatic Conveying System is available in both coated aluminum or high temperature stainless steel. Simply clamp a standard hose size to each end of the Ring-Vac™ to create this high energy conveying system. No moving parts for maintenance free operation with capacity and flow controlled with a pressure regulator.
Air Conveyors - Ring-Vac™ Pneumatic Conveying System is available in 1" (25mm), 1-1/4" (32mm), 1-1/2" (38mm), 2" (51mm), 2-1/2" (64mm), and 3" (76mm) sizes. Any size beyond that can be prohibitive for most applications due to high compressed air requirements.
In addition, beyond 3", the vacuum ability begins to drop significantly except for highly intermittent applications. For applications beyond 3", a blower system often becomes far more economical except in a rare number of possible applications. However, larger size versions are available if required as well as special sizes.

The KinPactor utilizes kinetic energy to accomplish dust collection through the principle of impaction. The contaminated gas stream is accelerated through a venturi shaped throat section reaching velocities between 9,000 and 24,000 feet per minute (100 to 280 miles per hour). Water introduced ahead of the throat is atomized by the high velocity gas stream, and dust particles collide with and are captured in the millions of small droplets.
In the long diverging section behind the KinPactor throat, static pressure is regained as the velocity of the gas stream is reduced. Sub-micron size particulate and water droplets coalesce during this interval providing additional collection.
The water laden gas stream enters the separator tangentially where droplets are removed by centrifugal force and impingement. Clean, droplet-free air passes through the separator outlet and slurry is continuously drained from the water eliminator section. The venturi shape of the KinPactor provides the most efficient conversion of potential energy (static pressure) into kinetic energy (velocity), and then allows maximum regain or reconversion of this high velocity back to static pressure as velocity diminishes in the diverging section.
Many orifice-type collectors utilize a construction shape somewhere between that of the sharp edged orifice and the venturi, and demonstrate a more efficient energy conversion than the sharp edged orifice but less efficient conversion than the KinPactor. Due to its higher performance capabilities, the venturi-type collector has been categorized in its own classification rather than grouped with the orifice type. The KinPactor, with its venturi shape, provides the highest possible collection efficiency for a given power consumption, since the power expended is most effectively utilized.

Design and principle of operation
Gas scrubbers operate like jet pumps. They are designed in a way, that at low pressure differences the gas to treat is mixed with the scrubbing liquid turbulently and then it separates from it.
The liquid driving medium is transformed to subtle drops by a driving nozzle axially in a vertical pipe. The drops transmit their impulse to the gas stream that is sucked by the created drain and gets compressed. The reached gain of pressure is sufficed to compensate the pressure drop in a following packing material column. Because of the pressure gain mechanical ventilators need not be used for sucking and hauling the gases. The drops of the driving liquid also scrub the gaseous parts. Between the drops and the gas phase there is an intensive exchange of matter, so during the hauling there is also gas scrubbing.
After the gas scrubbing plant there is a separator vessel. It is for separation the mixture of scrubbing liquid and the gas on one hand, and on the other hand as liquid tank for scrubbing liquid, that is hauled by a recirculation pump in a circulation.
