Ascending ropes and hauling systems
Rope clamps are principally used for two purposes: ascending ropes and hauling systems.
Petzl offers two types of devices:
frame-loaded rope clamps,
cam-loaded rope clamps.
For ascending ropes, frame-loaded rope clamps are the most commonly used. They are easy and quick to use, facilitating the passage of intermediate anchors and the transition from rope climbing with a clamp to descending. The cam-loaded rope clamps are recommended for hauling systems and creating adjustable lanyards. Installing them is slower due to the fact that the rope is captured in the device. However because of this, they can be almost permanently attached to the rope. Both types of rope clamps are for use on single ropes.

The spring-loaded catch allows the frame-loaded rope clamps to be installed and taken off at any point on the rope.

The frame-loaded rope clamps have been ergonomically designed for different uses:
- molded handle on the ASCENSION for an comfortable grip,
- the attachment hole on the CROLL is oriented so the device lies flat against the chest,
- the PANTIN's compact rope clamp will not get in the way.

The Series TFXL ultrasonic transit time flow meter is a reliable and cost-effective flow meter designed to replace mechanical meters where liquid conditions damage or impede operation. This non-invasive flow meter requires no maintenance, as it clamps on to the outside of the pipe. It provides a 4-20mA analog and simulated turbine meter frequency output, interfacing with a variety of monitoring equipment. The TFXL is available in an integral mount system for pipes size .5" (12mm) to 2” (50mm), and a remote system for pipes size .5" [12mm] and larger.

The FLUXUS ADM 6725 is a portable ultrasonic flowmeter. With its clamp-on transducers and its rechargeable battery, it is an ideal tool for service work.
The clamp-on flow transducers are simply mounted onto the pipe from the outside. Measurement is therefore non-invasive, and no process interruption is necessary for the installation. The transducers are not in direct contact with the medium to be measured and thus in no way submitted to pressure and wear and tear.
All transducer pairs are factory calibrated. All calibration data (including the transducer identification and parameters) is stored permanently in the transducers and is transferred to the transmitter automatically upon connection. This facilitates operation and a zeroing procedure is not necessary.
The user interface is adapted to the detected transducers. The instruments simply asks in a logical sequence for the pipe and medium parameters. The physical properties of a large number of pipe materials and media are stored in an internal data base. The status display enables even the inexperienced user to judge online the quality and precision of the measurement.

The Preso ThermoTrack is a non-invasive ultrasonic flow meter combined with non-invasive temperature sensors, to measure energy use in water-based HVAC systems. No sensors come in contact with the liquid and there are no moving parts, so downtime and maintenance are eliminated. The flow meter utilizes transit time ultrasonic technology and the temperature sensors are Pt1000 RTDs. The flow rate, supply line temperature and return line temperature measurements provide the necessary inputs to calculate energy use, displayed in BTUs, Calories or Watts. The ThermoTrack is available for pipe sizes 1/2" (12 mm) and larger, with a variety of power supply and output options available.
