General Description
The VPCLS2 is a single-chip-solution for PROFIBUS-DP (EN50170) in the area of digital I/Os. There is no external micro-controller necessary. The VPCLS2 is pin- and function compatible with the existing LSPM2 circuit from Siemens.

The m3000 instrument is the only commercial tomography system that provides dual capacitance and resistance modality. This allows users to visualize multi-component systems such as air / oil / water in real time.
Using its dual modality function, the m3000 can monitor processes which move from conducting to non-conducting in the continuous medium.
In contrast to many systems-based measurement techniques, tomography sensors are able to rapidly sense throughout a volume. Thus providing a dynamic picture of what is going on inside a pipe or vessel, e.g. whether a system is homogeneous.

The p2000 is an electrical resistance tomography instrument. The instrument operates by taking data from an array of 16 electrodes in contact with the process media. These are either mounted on a baffle / dip-pipe or around the circumference of the pipe or vessel. These data are processed to provide a conductivity map of the sensing zone.
In contrast to many systems-based measurement techniques, tomography sensors are able to rapidly sense throughout a volume. Thus providing a dynamic picture of what is going on inside a pipe or vessel, e.g. whether
a system is homogeneous.

The m3000c is an Electrical Capacitance Tomography instrument that is suitable for a wide range of research applications. The instrument operates by taking data from an array of 12 electrodes which can be non intrusive.

The z8000 is an Electrical Impedance Tomography instrument. The z8000 is essentially a resistance tomography instrument that can also measure impedance; phase and reactance. Impedance can measure real and imaginary parts, which gives another set of data to understand complex materials and how they are distributed in the course of a process.
The z8000, can capture data 1,000 dual frames persecond, which enables it to measure rapid flows or any process which is fast moving.

Electrical Resistance Tomography Linear Sensors.
ERT sensors comprise of multiple electrodes which must make electrical contact with the fluid within the process volume. The most common geometry is a circular sensor with the electrodes arranged uniformly around the circumference.
Electrical Capacitance Tomography Sensors
ECT sensors comprise of multiple electrodes arranged around the circumference of a pipeline. The most common arrangement is for external electrodes mounted on a section of non-conducting pipe with an external earthed screen. The electrodes can be etched from flexible copper coated laminate. This arrangement has the advantage that the electrodes are non-invasive and non-intrusive.
Dual Modality Sensors
ITS have developed dual-modality ERT and ECT pipeline sensors with co-located electrodes for use with the m3000 system. These have internal ERT electrodes and external ECT electrodes.

The new Moflash "Spectrum 600" LED Beacon offers the option of 3 colours in one enclosure (Red, Amber and Green). The Spectrum 600 also incorporates a Piezo Buzzer offering an additional audible signal option. The unit offers a total of 28 signal combinations for PLC controlled operation. An optional interface unit is available for non-PLC operation and offers 8 pre-set signals.
