The Manlight High Power Amplifier for CATV and FTTx applications
offers a cost effective solution in bringing the bandwidth closer to the end users. With a unique design based on Manlights in-house pump combiner and optical know-how, the high power amplifiers are optimized to offer high power and low noise figure with proven reliability and quality. The output power can be distributed
between 1 to 16 output ports.
The use of efficient and reliable uncooled pump diodes allows the Manlight amplifiers to reach high output powers with low overall power consumption. The control electronics featuring alarms, automatic
shutdown, and RS-232 communication interface is driven by a 5 / 24 VDC power supply.

Manlight proposes a wide variety of Erbium (1,5µm) or Ytterbium (1µm) doped fiber amplifiers either using PM or non PM fiber.
Available in OEM module of different sizes depending on the power (with power up to 35dBm at 1,5µm and up to 43dBm at 1µm) as such as in benchtop 3U 1/2 19" (up to 40dBm at 1,5µm) or 3U 19" (up to 43dBm at 1µm), you will necessary find the product that you need for your application.

The newest Series 67 line of fiber optic sensors is attracting much attention thanks to its simple, intuitive operator interface. Simply pressing the teach-in key twice allows two different objects or contrasts to be "learned" by the sensor. The bright, 2x4 digit display simultaneously shows the taught switching point as well as the relative receiving light level. Just like a potentiometer, the switching point can be changed at any time by using the +/- key. Two different security features protect the sensor against unintentional manipulation during ongoing operation: One is a complete lock, while the other option only allows access to the teach-in and manual switching point adjustment, while locking out all other adjustments such as light/dark operation, timer functions or the operating mode with defined response time. The new fiber optic sensor also boasts a wide variety of application possibilities. With a response time of only 50 microseconds it is among the fastest fiber optic sensors available on the market and therefore lends itself to high-speed processes. The integrated 12-bit A/D converter provides high resolution even in large ranges up to 4 m.
