Another business activity since over 15 years is the production of rotational-vacuum-concentrators ("RVC"). Here, the close relationship to our associated company Sigma Centrifuges offers obvious advantages in construction and production demands.
The Christ RVC-series is well structured in size and combination with different cooling traps and vacuum pumps. This gives the customer a maximum benefit for every application.
Examples for multiple applications:
Efficient concentration of DNA/RNA-samples, proteins etc.
BioTech and Genetic Engineering
Sample preparation in HPLC, GC, MS, Electrophoresis ...
Isolation and synthesis of natural compounds
Storage and handling of drugs (chemical libraries)
Combinatorial Chemistry
High-Throughput-Screening (HTS) |

miVac Concentrator Range
miVac centrifugal concentrators are capable of removing water and organic solvents from a variety of sample formats including tubes, microplates, vials and round bottom flasks. Making it an ideal "work-horse" concentrator for the busy biology or general life science lab.
The built-in special runs for working with water and water mixtures improve performance and optimise concentration time and make the miVac Duo ideal for applications requiring concentration of solvent from precious samples in: Oligo-synthesis, RNA/DNA prep., peptide prep., sequencing, molecular biology, ADME / toxicology labs, process development, residue analysis, environmental analysis and general academic/life science research.

The HT-24 Workstation
The HT-24 is a simple, large capacity, stand-alone, space-saving machine centred around two HT-12 Series II evaporators mounted on a small footprint trolley. It has the standard evaporator capability, remote control and data logging but gives faster processing by allowing independent operation. It is easy to use, reliable, robust and safe.
The HT-24 gives the user the option of simultaneously evaporating 2 different solvents, providing they’re not reactive. Other system features are sample integrity, rapid defrosting, and pullout sample shelves for loading/ unloading evaporators.

DSET Laboratories, Inc. pioneered accelerated outdoor weathering in the 1960's with its Fresnel-reflecting solar concentration devices - Emma® (Equatorial Mount with Mirrors for Acceleration) and EMMAQUA® (Equatorial Mount with Mirrors for Acceleration with Water). Economical, proven and continuously improved for even greater accuracy, EMMAQUA is the most widely used outdoor accelerated weathering test method in the world today.
The test apparatus is a follow-the-sun rack with mirrors positioned as tangents to simulate a parabolic trough.
The target board, located at the focal line of the mirrors, lies under a wind tunnel along which a deflector directs ambient temperature cooling air across the specimens. A fan spray nozzle assembly is employed to spray the specimens with deionized water in accordance with established schedules. Night time spray cycles can be used to keep the specimens moist during the night time hours.
Atlas recommends the exposure of test specimens based on an accumulated dose of ultraviolet radiation measured in MJ/m2. However, test can also be timed on total radiation, Langleys, or real time. The duration can be based on Arizona or Florida radiation equivalents. The UV radiation must be measured as direct beam to avoid errors when evaluating the exposure duration. |

Fluxtrol concentrator manufacturing and application technique plays a very important role in successful performance of induction coils. With respect to Fluxtrol concentrator application - magnetic, thermal and mechanical aspects must be considered. Additionally, the electrical strength of our concentrator must be considered or insulation provided.
This section is intended to provide methods for safety, handling and machining FLUXTROL® & FERROTRON® concentrator materials when applying the product to induction coils. |
