Rosedale High Efficiency Filter Bags
Our HI-E series of bag filters meets the most stringent needs for fine process, hydraulic fluid, and lubricant filtration. All are made of unique microfiber materials, designed to increase the efficiency and dirt-holding capacities of these bags.
Microfiber Material Construction
Polyester or polypropylene microfibers and standard fibers are variably calendered to produce a single layer of microfiber material. Our unique construction can provide filtration to a 1 micron rating. Polyester microfiber material should be used where oil adsorption is not desirable or where higher temperatures are required.
Filtration Level
These bags have been tested by an independent laboratory to determine the filtration efficiency and dirt holding capabilities for each. They have been manufactured so that the efficiencies for both polyester and polypropylene are identical.

Self cleaning filters are available in either manual or automatic versions with standard design options for either low pressure (14 BARG) or high pressure (35 BARG) system.
In operation the liquid enters the body and flows through the element from outside to inside.
Debris is collected on the outside of the wedge wire element, which is cleaned without flow interruption by rotating the cylindrical element against twin scraper blades.
The debris accumulated during element rotation is deposited into the bottom of the filter body from where it is periodically discharged, manually or automatically.

Strainer Bags
Menardi manufactures high quality liquid filter bags to fit standard size filter vessels, as well as custom designed products where requested. The constituent materials have been chosen for their purity, ensuring consistent high quality and performance. Filter bags are available in traditional stitched form or with a fully welded construction, and are fitted with a comprehensive choice of rings.
Menardi is a leading manufacturer of fully welded filter bags, which are available for applications requiring standard polypropylene or polyester felts, extended life felts or high efficiency media. All seams are welded rather than sewn, and combined with either of our positive sealing moulded Welseal (polypropylene or polyester) welded rings, no process liquid can bypass through needle holes caused by the sewing process or around a sewn snap ring. The Welseal ring forms a hermetic seal between the filter bag and housing, eliminating any possibility of bypass around a steel ring, which is a potential source of product contamination. These features ensure that fully welded filter bags perform to a higher efficiency than a sewn equivalent.

Mikropor Continuous Wound liquid filters (MW) feature a special diamond pattern which maintains uniform micron retention throughout the length and depth of the element and provides superior particle trapping capabilities.
Mikropor continuous wound liquid elements also eliminate the problems of segmented elements, such as contaminate by-pass, inconsistent micron retention, flow restriction and reduced filtration area where joints are over-wound.
Mikropor Wound liquid cartridges offer a gradual pressure increase during cartridge life while surface-type media experience abrupt flow cutoff when loaded. Each layer on Mikropor wound cartridges contributes to true depth filtration by trapping its share of particles. Furthermore, the irregular outer surface reduces surface binding, delivering both longer cartridge life and full cartridge utilization.
Applications for Mikropor Continuous Wound Filters
- Fluids Chemical Industry
- Electronic Industry
- Polymer Solutions
- Pharmaceutical
- Electrical Power Generating
- Petrochemical & Refineries
- Printing Inks
- Reverse Osmosis Units
- Pre-Treatment Oxidizing Agents

We design filter cartridges which have hinged bolts damp lids. These cartridges are used for a variety of applications like filtration of hydraulic oils, lube oils, fuels, cutting fluids, coolants, washing fluids etc., Their housings are sized depending on the application & rated flow requirement. These can be designed for higher pressures. The housings of verity of material of construction are supplied depending on the requirement.
Working:
The dirty fluid is pushed in the filter housing under pressure. Filter elements of correct filtration rating are placed in the housing depending on the flow & other requirements. The ends of the filter elements are sealed so that the fluid is made to pass through the filter medium only, to leave the dirt on the filter medium. Generally the inlet & outlet are in one line. However the position of the inlet could be altered as per the requirement.

Betafine® XL Filter Cartridges
Providing Reduced Total Filtration Costs and Predictable Filtration Performance The Betafine XL filter represents a major advance in pleated filter technology. Building on Cuno's history of filter design innovation, this absolute-rated, 100% polypropylene, pleated cartridge features a patent pending Advanced Pleat Technology (APT) that increases the usable filtration surface area while maintaining standard industrial cartridge dimensions. The result is a filter cartridge that dramatically enhances service life to provide:
* Reduced Total Filtration Costs: Fewer cartridges used, reduced cartridge change-out frequency, reduced downtime and product waste, and reduced labor and disposal costs.
* Predictable filtration performance: Reduced quality checks, reduced product rejects and rework, and increased productivity and plant capacity.
Advanced Pleat Technology™
The service life of a pleated cartridge is often dictated by the accessible surface area. Conventional pleated filters may offer a large gross surface area, but when the media is packed too tightly into the cartridge, only part of the surface area is usable resulting in both flow restrictions and limited contaminant holding capacity. The "blind" or unusable area commonly occurs near the inside diameter where the pleats are packed most tightly.

BetaPure®
Advantages
* Rigid Self-Supporting Structure
* Free of Media Migration
* Consistent Filtration Characteristics
* Excellent Flow Characteristics
* Broad Chemical Compatibility
* FDA Compliant in Polypropylene/Polyethylene Grades
Cartridge Construction
BetaPure utilizes state of the art fiber technology combined with innovative process technology to provide a clean, rigid filter structure with consistent and reproducible filtration characteristics.
BetaPure is available in two bicomponent fiber systems
1. Polypropylene/Polyethylene
2. Polyester/Copolyester
BetaPure is constructed using long, bicomponent fibers, each fiber having an inner core of polypropylene and an outer sheath of polyethylene, BetaPure performance Engineered "Z" Grades have special integral inserts designed to achieve precise removal characteristics and optimize flow and service life. The bicomponent fibers can be thermally bonded because of the difference in melt temperatures between the two components. Heating the matrix to the melt temperature of the polyethylene sheath, but below that of the polypropylene core, causes the fiber to fiber bond at each contact point, without fiber shrinkage or polypropylene degradation. The high degree of fiber to fiber bonding eliminates the need for a core support and any possibility of media migration.
Polyester BetaPure is constructed by using long bicomponent fibers of polyester and copolyester. This fiber matrix has wide solvent and chemical compatibility and is suitable for many high temperature applications.
