The Model FL3100 is an Ultraviolet / Infrared flame detector designed to detect fires and provide alarm outputs directly from the detector while maintaining false alarm immunity. It detects fires by monitoring in both the ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) spectral ranges, making it highly immune to false alarms. There is also a hydrogen-specific detector available that detects hydrogen fires.
FL3100 Series flame sensors' electronics are integral within their explosion-proof housings, allowing detector information to be processed at the point of detection. The detectors also provide a 4-20mA stepped output signal indicating detector status. The COPM (Continuous Optical Path Monitoring) self-test feature checks the optical path integrity (window cleanliness) and the detectors' electronic circuitry once every minute. |

The design of this new generation of detectors provides 3 main features :
• Performances
• Guaranteed detection
• Easy installation, use and maintenance.
The efficiency of SIMTRONICS flame detection offers :
• High sensitivity,
• Very short response time,
• Reliability,
• Immunity from interferences
It also guarantees protection against fire risks in industrial environments and enables the control of fire fighting.
The housings are treated specifically to resist corrosive factors (stainless steel or aluminium housings).
These TV63 UV / 2xIR detectors have a wide viewing angle (110°) and a range higher than 45 m.
The integrated relays and a 4-20mA output enable the control of the TV63 by the control units or by MANUFACTURER OF PLC.
The detectors are equipped with an automatic test control, which regularly checks the functionality of detection, as well as the optical and electronic integrity of the system.
The detector’s non-stop auto-tests & intrinsic quality feature SIL 2. |

| The Model FL4000 is an advanced multi-spectral infrared (MSIR) flame detector designed to provide superior false alarm immunity with the widest field of view. The FL4000 employs a multi-spectral optical IR sensing array with a sophisticated Neural Network Technology (NNT) system to reliably discriminate between actual flames and the vast majority of false alarm sources (such as arc soldering). The FL4000 is designed to detect typical fires such as alcohol, n-heptane, gasoline, jet fuels and hydrocarbons. In addition, the FL4000 can see through dense smoke produced by diesel, rubber, plastics and lube oil fires. |

The self-checking SAFYR PACKSCAN flame detectors are designed for monitoring solid or liquid fuel industrial burners (oil, pulverised coal, heavy liquid residues). They are adapted for multi-burner installations by facilitating flame discrimination.
A binary safety signal is transmitted in the presence or absence of a flame. The output signal is also available on terminals for recording or remote display purposes.
Operation of the SAFYR PACKSCAN flame detector is based on the characteristic flickering phenomena of flames, generally between 0 to 150HZ. It uses a silicium photodiode cell, adapted to the combustion frequency in the visible light band (320 to 1100nm).
A display indicates all the configured parameters, as well as the detection level.
30 years of experience in the field of flame detection gives the SAFYR PACKSCAN the following advantages :
• An ‘all in one concept’ with an integrated professional amplifier in the professional scanner head for easy installation.
• Two microprocessors for increased safety and reliability.
• Approved by APAVE to meet all safety criteria requirements
• Detection level indicator to simplify commissioning
• Various standard confi guration methods by internal switches, by remote and by serial link, to simplify configuration
• Two SPDT output switches to indicate flame presence and proper detector operation |

The self-checking RUBY PACKSCAN flame detectors are mainly designed for monitoring gas burners manufacturers.
They transmit a binary safety signal on the presence or absence of a flame.
The response time to a flame shutdown is less than 1 second, as per Standard EN298 relating to gas safety equipment.
The RUBY PACKSCAN detector uses a detection tube for ultraviolet wavelengths between 185 and 280nm.
An auto-checking mechanism for the tube covers the sight hole three times per second in order to ensure self checking operation.
A display enables visualisation of the configured parameters as well as the level of detection.
