Quick connect non-drip couplings designed solely for connecting low-pressure fluid and vacuum lines in which virtually zero spillage is critical.
CEJN non-drip couplings are adaptable to most applications and system requirements. The series includes two styles:
- Valved: One-hand operated; most commonly used style in fluid systems
- Valveless: Two hands needed for connection/disconnection; useful in coolant applications in which fluid loss at disconnection is not critical
Standard range includes three configurations: single shutoff, double shutoff, and straight through. The series is compatible with working pressures up to 290 PSI (20 bar) and temperatures up to 600° F (315° C) and is available in ¼-inch through 1-inch sizes. Constructions include nickel-plated brass with nitrile seals and AISI 316 stainless steel with Viton seals.
CEJN non-drip couplings are offered in four safety levels, enabling users to select the exact level of safety required. All levels are available with an optional safety-locking device that eliminates the risk of unintentional disconnection.

All-Purpose Clean Break Series CN
Features:
The squirt-free clean break couplings of the CN series are mainly used in the chemical industry, for the loading and transport of fluids, e.g. at hose stations. Other application areas are also possible.
Due to the special design principle, a squirt-free connection and disconnection, even with long, filled hose lines under pressure up to 5 bar, is possible.
In case of limited space the handwheel can be dispensed with, due to the small operating force of the CN-025. A hook wrench can be used instead.
Key Benefits:
• clean break coupling with bayonet locking
• squirt-free operation
• connects under residual pressure
• small dimensions
• very good flow rates
Nominal Sizes:
25, 50, 80 and 100 mm
Media:
• water
• compressed air
• diverse fluids
• fuel
• lubricating greases / oils
• technical gases
Pressure Range:
up to 25 bar, depending on the nominal size

NS2 Couplings Deliver Cost-Efficient, High-Flow Fluid Line Transfer in a Small Footprint, Safely and Economically
Colder Products’ NS2 Series compact, non-spill quick disconnect couplings provides users with fast, safe and virtually leak-free fluid line connections. An excellent choice for printing and ink management, analytical instrumentation, electronic cooling, and many other applications, the patent-pending NS2 couplings provide high-flow fluid transfer in a small footprint.
For applications that require the safe transfer of fluids, the NS2 offers an easy, twist-to-connect locking mechanism and double-sided non-spill shutoff valves for added safety and convenience.
The NS2 meets the need for smaller, more cost-effective industrial couplings. The smaller couplings can replace larger ones, offering users a low-cost, space-saving option for a wide variety of coupling applications. The NS2 couplings also offer very low air inclusion – air induced into the coupling upon connection – minimizing contaminants and reducing the need to purge fluid lines.
Colder NS2 Series quick disconnect couplings are available in a variety of sizes and configurations.

The dry break quick disconnect functions similar to a double shut-off quick disconnect however it provides a higher level of sealing during connection and disconnection. The dry break connects without leakage or fluid spray. Additionally, the design minimizes dead volume (the space between the internal and external ends when connected) to essentially eliminate any leakage when disconnecting.

Eaton Walterscheid WALRing Sets New Standard For Reliable Assembly Of Cutting-Ring Systems
BADEN-BADEN, Germany ... Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced the launch of the Eaton Walterscheid WALRing, the new two-edge cutting-ring system with the time-tested WALFORMplus captive seals for simple and reliable assembly.
WALRing systems withstand operating pressures up to 800 bar (11,600 psi) with a 4:1 burst rating. It is offered in sizes ranging from six mm up to 42 mm and built to ISO 8434-1/DIN 2353 standards.
The WALRing assembly is composed of a DIN nut (which has an integrated two-edge cutting ring and additional support ring), the fitting body and the WALFORMplus captive seal. Like all cutting-ring systems, WALRing can be assembled with a standard wrench or by machine (controlled final assembly), which is a big advantage. Anotheradvantage of the WALRing system is that the possibility over-tightening is virtually eliminated. After one to one-and-a-half turns, the assembler will feel a noticeable increase in torque that clearly indicates the end of assembly. "These advantages distinguish WALRing from other competitive products," explained Jörg Altenrath, senior development engineer, Eaton Corporation. "Two cutting edges have been the tried and tested standard for decades because they absorb force uniformly, do not cut deeply into tube and reliably protect the WALRing against stripping-even in thin-walled tubes."

ISO-QF (Quick Flange) and LF (Large Flange) flanges are part of the same family of ISO standard elastomer sealed vacuum components designed for high vacuum service. A&N ISO flanges and fittings are manufactured in accordance with ISO (International Standard Organization) 2861 standards and tolerances. These flanges are an economical, convenient, and simplified means of constructing custom vacuum systems. ISO flanges, along with CF flanges, represent the most commonly used vacuum flange systems around the globe.
Standard QF flanges have bore (tube) sizes that range from 16mm to 50mm (QF16 to QF50). In addition, A&N offers a range of QF flanges from 63 to 200mm. QF flanges are fastened with quick style clamps and are sealed with an elastomeric o-ring. LF flanges have bore (tube) sizes that range from 63mm to 500mm (LF63 to LF500). LF style flanges are fastened with claw-style clamps or with bolts. Adaptive bolt rings are available that allow the conversion from claw-style flanges to bolt-style flanges. LF flanges are also sealed with an elastomeric o-ring.
