SMC Series Subminiature Couplings
The SMC Subminiature Coupling is Colder Products’ smallest coupling. This twist-to-connect coupling provides a reliable and more secure alterative to luer-type connections. The SMC also allows the tubing to rotate freely when connected, which prevents both kinked tubing and accidental disconnection during use.

ZLC Series Die-Cast Nickel-Plated Zinc Quick Disconnect Couplings
Colder Products’ new die-cast nickel-plated zinc quick disconnect couplings (ZLC) are a reliable, economical solution that is particularly suitable for high volume production requirements when the durability of metal is required. Streamlined and lightweight in relation to comparable machined brass couplings, the ZLC is interchangeable with many of Colder’s existing coupling lines.
The ZLC incorporates an easy-to-use thumb latch, automatic shutoff cocks, integral terminations, and an audible “click” indicating a secure connection.
The nickel-plated zinc ZLC provides effective chemical resistance to gasoline, ink, air, water, and many other fluids. It weighs approximately 20 percent less than comparable chrome-plated brass couplings and operates at temperatures ranging form -10° F to 150° F (-23° C to 66° C). Temperature capabilities and chemical resistance may be extended with valve and industrial seal options. Prior to plating, the ZLC is impregnated to eliminate porosity. The ZLC is offered in panel mount or in-line configurations and terminations, including professional hose barb and pipe thread.

| Designed to handle operating pressures in the range of 6,000 - 15,000psi (414-1034 bar), MPI Tube professional fittings have been engineered to provide secure leak free connections at medium pressures. Utilising a compression style make-up, MPI negates for expensive coning and threading techniques common to higher pressure fittings. |

Quick connect non-drip couplings designed solely for connecting low-pressure fluid and vacuum lines in which virtually zero spillage is critical.
CEJN non-drip couplings are adaptable to most applications and system requirements. The series includes two styles:
· Valved—One-hand operated; most commonly used style in fluid systems
· Valveless—Two hands needed for connection/disconnection; useful in coolant applications in which fluid loss at disconnection is not critical
Standard range includes three configurations: single shutoff, double shutoff, and straight through. The series is compatible with working pressures up to 290 PSI (20 bar) and temperatures up to 600° F (315° C) and is available in ¼-inch through 1-inch sizes. Constructions include nickel-plated brass with nitrile professional seals and AISI 316 stainless steel with Industrial viton seals.
CEJN non-drip couplings are offered in four safety levels, enabling users to select the exact level of safety required. All levels are available with an optional safety-locking device that eliminates the risk of unintentional disconnection.

Duff-Norton manufactures rotary couplers, rotary joints, rotating joints and offers a line of 32 series ranging up to 10,000 psi and up to 5000 RPM. Rotary Union® is Duff-Norton%u2019s registered trademark for rotating joints.
Rotating joints are used to transfer fluids from a stationary supply to a rotating component, i.e., a drum or roll.
They are used in process industries like paper, professional printing, rubber and plastics, textile and chemical; on cranes, on device tools and in a host of other applications. They are used to provide heating or cooling media like steam, hot oil, water or coolant to control the surface temperature of a drum or roll, to transfer air or hydraulic fluid to moving components or to add fluids to industrial mixers while in motion.
Duff-Norton has traditionally served the markets where it supplies its general purpose joints, such as the rubber and plastics industries, and in the textile market it supplies its 8000T, a joint designed especially for the textile industry. The single largest user industry of rotating joints worldwide is the pulp and paper industry, which requires large quantities of joints for steam, water and hot oil. The steam applications (i.e., professional dryer cans) are most prevalent in paper mills. |
