Metallic Cable Management
Adaptaflex have a choice of fifteen individual metallic conduit systems manufactured either in galvanized steel or stainless steel.
A range of 3 different conduit types provide a solution for liquid resistant specifications with a further 3 conduit options in liquid tight covered steel conduit for especially demanding environments. Conduit ranges are offered in nominal conduit size from 3mm for CCTV/roller shutter doors and for protecting fibre optics cables right up to 75mm for larger cable carrying capacity.
Overbraided conduits are particularly suitable for installation in abrasive environments. Where applications call for enhanced low fire hazard properties or EMI screening then there is the option of high specification tinned copper overbraided for greater EMI protection levels.
In addition a range of fittings are specifically designed to maintain system integrity including fixed and swivel fittings, straights, 90°, 45°, and a host of accessories including locknuts, enlargers, reducers and converters. Many of our conduit systems have industry recognised approvals including British Kitemark, CE Approval, UL Listing, NF, LUL, DB, and Lloyds Register amongst others.
Advantages
* High compression/crush strength
* Tensile strength - pull off load under tension
* Impact resistance
* Inherent fire protection on uncoated versions
* Corrosion resistant - stainless steel options
* Braided - High level EMI screening with tinned copper overbraided
* Greater temperature tolerances

Extruded finned tubes
At the heart of most Thermofin heat exchangers’ technology lies Thermofin’s aluminium extruded finned tubes, they are the lead actors on which rests the efficiency and longevity of our units. Their particular design (mono or bimetal) provides great resistance (fin stiffness) as well as exceptional heat transfer characteristics (longevity, temperature range). The mechanical bond joining liner tubes and aluminium wall insures no corrosion occurs between fin and tube, a key factor in permitting the delivery of the specified duty by your heat exchanger, it also offers superior durability.
Heat pipes
Based on Thermofin’s extruded fin tube technology, our selection of heat pipes is designed to suit the need of the Original Equipment Manufacturer. Whether they be bent in ‘U’ shape or equipped with end fitting to facilitate their filling, Thermofin’s heat pipe designs are devoted to match your thermal and geometrical requirements. Their superior thermal performance is partly linked to the fintube inside capillary surface, created during the tube manufacture, this surface promotes the refrigerant migration.

Spiral Finned Tubes :
FINNED TUBES
While it is not necessary to tell engineers what finned tubes are, or that their use is mandatory in cases of gas-liquid heat exchange where the film coefficient ratio is above 2, it is essential to tell the engineers that M.J.Patel's FINNED TUBES are backed by not only engineering excellence of manufacture, but also by our zealously guarded reputation for the finest quality of all our products.
T-FINS
Helical Straight strip wound on the tube are mechanically secured. The tubes are required grade of steel, the fins are aluminium for maximum tube-wall temperature of 121 deg C (250 deg F) and mild service conditions.
L-FINS
Helical strip bent to L-shape are mechanically secured to the tube with the outer surface of the tube totally enclosed with fins, for full fin contact and protection of tube from chemical action of the gas for maximum tube-wall temperature of 177 deg C (350 deg F) and moderate service conditions.
G-FINS
Helical straight strip wound into pre-cut grooves on the outer wall of the tube, fin and groove lips mechanically closed for maximum tube-wall temperature of 371 deg C (700 deg F) and extreme working conditions.
STUDDED TUBES
We have developed state of the art Technology for studded Pipes and Tubes of Carbon, Alloy and Stainless Steel Material having extremely low clear gaps between studs. These are used in Refinery Services and Fluidized Beds Boiler Coils.
LONGTITUDINALLY FINNED TUBES
We have indigenous developed automatic welding machines for giving low distortion Longitudinally welded Finned Tubes used in low capacity Boilers.

Heat Pipe Heat Exchanger Core Technology
Heat pipe core units are a flexible thermal management system used to interface with duct work and other customized applications. Fin stacks can be tailored to accommodate different air velocities in the ambient and internal loops. All heat pipe core units provide a NEMA 4 and NEMA 12 compliant seal to separate the two air streams. Our engineers can design a broad range of core sizes for your application.

For pressure vessels and reaction vessels in M.S., Al, Monel, Inconel, Cupronickel, etc., M.J. Patel employs the latest techniques for expanding tube ends into tube sheets. High pressure tests are always carried out on these heat exchangers before they leave the factory. Brass, copper, M.S. and S.S. tube sheets are used. Tube sheets are also made out of mild steel, alloy steel or stainless steel and baffle plates are made out of mild steel or stainless steel. M.J. Patel fabricates 'U' Tube heat exchangers which are used in fertilizer plants, petrochemical and power project complexes.
Fabrication of U-Tubes for Heat-Exchangers Spans at extremely Short Delivery time, even Extra long (23 mts.) is M.J. Patel's specialty. Tube Bending as per TEMA. Tubes to any specification and any length can be supplied in extremely short time due to our wide Mother Tube Stocks.
