The new digital density meter DS7000 gets along with only 0,3 ml of sample quantity!
Additionally the density meter convinces with a measuring accuracy never seen before: in the measuring range of 0.00000 – 1.99999 g/cm³ the measuring accuracy is 0.00005 g/cm³. Whether you want to measure density, specific gravity or the concentration of liquid solutions: by this highly precise measuring instrument you receive results with 5 digits behind the comma. And even better: You receive your measuring result in only 1 second!
Behind these improvements stands a new-developed micromechanical measuring cell which needs only 80 µl of sample volume and provides an integrated temperature measurement of the sample.
Further features: built-in Peltier thermostat ensures precisely regulated temperature with a repeatability of +/- 0.02 °C, calibration certificate in accordance with N.I.S.T. density standard, particularly suitable for application fields in the GLP/GMP range, user-friendly touch-screen operates in 6 languages, interfaces RS232 and Ethernet, LIMS and printer connections.
990 programmable customized measuring methods (9 preset). The SQL data base thus stores and controls 999 results for you. Individual user management with separate passwords can be programmed.
The DS7000 can be used in a widespread range, e.g. for determination of mixing ratios, quality and quantity inspections. Operational fields are among others the chemical industry, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry, breweries and beverage manufacturers, sugar and sweet material industry, pulp and paper industry, electronic industry, petrochemical industry and waste water management. |

Micromeritics new AccuPyc II 1340 Gas Displacement Pycnometry System are fast, fully automatic analyzers that provide high-speed, high-precision volume measurements and density calculations on a wide variety of materials. The AccuPyc completes most analyses in less than three minutes with excellent accuracy by using a gas displacement technique to determine absolute density of powders, solids, and slurries having volumes from 0.01 to 350 cm3.
The instrument can be operated with a keypad or an optional Windowsā interface that provides exceptional reporting and archiving capability. Both versions include direct sample mass input from a balance and cycle-based displacement volume reporting. With the Windows interface, features such as time-based pressure equilibration reporting and additional calculations such as percent solids content and total pore volume are included.
For those who require high throughput, an integrated control and analysis module can control up to five additional external analysis modules. Each module can have a different size sample chamber (1 cm3, 10 cm3, 100 cm3, 350 cm3) providing even more versatility.
A multivolume option allows analysis of a variety of sample sizes in a single analysis module. A temperature-controlled version of the analysis module performs analyses at user-selectable temperatures.

| Thermo Scientific gas and liquid density meters measure density or density related variables within the oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, food and beverage, and general process industries. These highly accurate, online, continuous meters use a proven vibrating element design to provide key information for process monitoring and control, quality control, product interface detection and custody transfer applications. With a twin tube design that is inherently more stable than single tube technology, the meters detect any variation of process constituents or final product quality in near real-time to improve productivity, minimize product waste and reduce costs when compared to sampling methods. The compact, lightweight meters are also easy to install without upstream flow conditioning or instrument supports. Once installed, the straight-through sensor offers an unobstructed flow path to ensure minimal pressure drop and higher flow rates. With hazardous area approvals and secondary containment on all models, these durable instruments withstand tough industrial environments to ensure a significant return on investment. |

The contactless and continuos measurement of the density of liquids or bulk material is requested in even more than the following applications:
Concentration measurement of acid, alkali, saline solution and suspension
Crystallisation and polymerisation monitoring
Determination of the solid matter content in slurries, in flue gas desulphurisation suspensions, in aluminium production and in mining
Measurement of the bulk density in washing powder and clinker

| The DENSITRAK® Model D625 liquid density meter utilizes the spring mass principle for measuring the fluid density. A portion of the "u" tube is energized to vibrate at its natural resonant frequency by using an electrical feedback driving system. A change in the vibrating mass, (as a result of change in the fluid density) shifts the resonant frequency. A CSI SPUD signal processing unit for density uses temperature, pressure and the shift in frequency to determine the density of the measured fluid. |

Digital density meters measure density, specific gravity and other related values (I.e. alcohol%, BRIX°, API degrees) with high precision and short measuring time.
Measuring principle:
A hollow glass tube vibrates at a certain frequency. This frequency changes when the tube is filled with the sample: the higher the mass of the sample, the lower the frequency. This frequency is measured and converted into density.
Benchtop instruments are equipped with a built-in Peltier thermostat to control the temperature (no water bath required). |

The Wallace High Precision Densimeter is a cost efficient inspection instrument, calculating an accurate measurement of specific gravity. With a scale capacity of up to 300g and specific gravity resolution to three decimal places. The X22B is ideal for the inspection of rubber, plastic, sintered metals, glass and ceramics, foods and other materials. Using the optional liquid measuring kit the specific gravity of a liquid can be determined.
The innovative design makes specific gravity measurement simple and results are displayed after an elapsed time which varies according to the mode selected. Zero and tare are set through touch button operation on the front panel. The angle accessory (supplied as standard) enables samples with an SG of less than 1, to be tested. Compensation for temperature and for fluids other than water can be set by the operator. A built-in accuracy check is a standard feature so that if sample weight is insufficient, the final digit will flash. A wind shield is provided to protect the instrument from draughts and dust during operation.
Also available: X21 C with resolution to four decimal places |
