HFM 436 Lambda - Heat flow meter
With the HFM 436 Lambda, samples measuring 30 cm x 30 cm or 60 cm x 60 cm and of variable thicknesses ranging from a few millimeters to 10 (20) cm are tested between two heat flux sensors in fixed or adjustable temperature gradients. After a few minutes for the system to reach equilibrium, the built-in PC or external computer determines the thermal conductivity and thermal resistance of the sample.
Automatic plate movement and determination of the sample thickness simplify test preparation.
All test parameters as well as the calibration data are stored in the PC and documented.
Determination of thermal conductivity with the HFM 436 Lambda meets the industry standards ASTM C 518, ISO 8301, JIS A 1412, DIN EN 12939, DIN EN 13163 and DIN EN 12667.

ELD - ELECTRONIC LEAK DETECTOR
ELD is an easy-to-use device that is fully compatible with all types of press or molding equipment and allows users to quickly locate any leakage of plastic materials (or other liquids) inside the mold. Installation is straightforward requiring only that the ELD be connected to both the thermoregulation system and hot runner. Energy profile analysis and the application of mathematical algorithms enables ELD to monitor all hot runner system zones and, if required, close down the production cycle prior to any serious damage being caused.
The ability to identify, in real time, where leakage is occurring means the cause of the leak can be identified and - as a result - a reduction in both maintenance costs and the time required to return the system to full working order.
