COMMON FEATURES
When the external temperature is lower than the internal
temperature and a “maintenance free ” system is requested, a
X-LINE air to air heat exchanger is the most convenient choice.
The air to air heat exchanger XVA, with the internal patented
aluminium core, satisfy completely the market request by small
dimensions, very high efficiency and new design.
Four sizes from 16 W/K to 85 W/K heat transmission rate.
They are always supplied with deflectors for the outlet of ambient and enclosure air in order to optimize the enclosure thermal management.

COMMON FEATURES
The air to water heat exchanger of the EXW series are the
best solution when refrigerated water or water from a cooling
tower is available. With cooling capacities from 870 W to
25000 W, eight models for wall or door mounting and one for
roof mounting, the EXW series is the most complete range
of solutions. The units from 12500 W are built into enclosure
modules for installation on the side of enclosure arrays. There
are versions for the most common power supplies. The wall
mounting units can be installed internally or externally with no
need for mounting accessories. All units are equipped with the
patented system for recovery and evacuation of condensate
(REC). The protection degree rating is IP 55 making the EXW
series the best approach when the enclosures are in aggressive
ambient air.

DIRECT CURRENT AIR-OIL HEAT EXCHANGERS:
This series of heat exchangers is particularly useful in cooling oleo-hydraulic plant on mobile machinery as it is fitted with direct current 12 or 24 V electric fans. The cooling element is in aluminium, a material of high thermal conductivity, which provides high thermal yield from relatively contained dimensions. The particular conformation of the radiant block is such that APL series heat exchangers are highly resistant to the stress produced by hammering which, however, at peak value, should not exceed the maximum dynamic pressure of 20 bar. The maximum permitted static pressure is 35 bar.

Apex exchangers are available at 230 or 400 volts. They are optionally fitted with a thermotic valve, with 2 or 3 ways and a progressive opening to eleminate pressure surge or variations in water supply.
This equipment does not need special maintenance.
The unique design of our air/water exchangers allows a compactness of integration, control and perfect temperature stability. They are fitted with a system for the total recovery of condensates.

The range of air/oil heat exchangers has proved to be extremely reliable for a number of different hydraulic oil cooling requirements using the air generated by electric fans, hydraulic fans or, in the industrial sector, by single-phase and three-phase electric fans. The availability of models has now been further extended in order to satisfy all requirements.

Lytron's ES Series aluminum oil coolers are engineered for high performance with poor heat transfer fluids such as oils and EGW. The extended surface flat tube design provides 2.5 times better performatnce than competitive units. The unique flat tube and header designs result in lower pressure drop so smaller, less expensive pumps can be used. Welded headers are pressure tested to 150 psi (10.3) bars and the fluxless, vacuum-brazed core provides strength and reliability. The Aluminum Oil Coolers are available with or without a fan plate, and with finish options of aluminum or black paint.

Air/water heat-exchangers
The FIRA radiators for endothermic motors are designed according to customer needs and are used on tractors, self-propelled cranes, forklift trucks, harvesting equipment and other. The finning can be made of copper with inserted or Mc Kord type high-efficiency profile. Both solutions are available in a wide range of configurations and dimensions, thus permitting optimal choice according to operating conditions (low clogging or high efficiency). It is also possible to include a plate exchanger in the tank for hydraulic oil cooling. Accessories include steel or ABS ducting, expansion tanks, fans and anti-vibration mounts.

A number of production facilities use lukewarm water to cool machines or production processes. This method is also ideal for cooling the enclosures with Pfannenberg air/water heat exchangers. Heat Pipe Heat Exchanger Core Technology
Heat pipe core units are a flexible thermal management system used to interface with duct work and other customized applications. Fin stacks can be tailored to accommodate different air velocities in the ambient and internal loops. Air conditioners have up to now been used for removing heat generated by communications equipment that installed inside large-scale base station enclosures with a hermetically-sealed heat insulation structure. These air conditioners are very often run throughout the year, which poses a major problem of how to cut down on energy consumption also creating Freon gas. We at Panasonic have developed a cooling system that uses cold air to cool hot air by means of efficient heat exchange, driven by the difference in thermal energy between the air outside the enclosure and the air inside it. This cooling system does not use CFCs.
In response to growing demands for better performance and the further reduction in size of base stations, there is a mounting need for even more compact cooling systems that run at high efficiency and at low noise to provide solutions for handling the heat generated inside.
